*Note: a win this weekend would clinch a playoff spot for the Blue Bombers for a seventh straight season, their longest run since a 17-year streak ended in 1997.

- Zach Collaros is 6-0 in his career in Labour Day Classic games – 3-0 during his days in Hamilton, 1-0 in his one season in Saskatchewan and 2-0 in Winnipeg. In those games has a 13:3 TD-to-interception ratio while passing for 300 yards three times and over 400 yards in 2015 while with the Ticats.

- The Blue Bombers are 24-3 against West Division clubs since 2021.

- A victory in Regina this weekend would give the Blue Bombers a winning record on the road for the third consecutive season, matching a mark last set from 1960-62.

These are the good times, folks. I hope you are all savoring them.

Jake Dolefala is one step below Cody Fajardo and that’s all that needs to be said about that …

Jake just beat BC, Cody didn't.

t.j. Brunson, linebacker, first game in cfl fined for high hit.

The Canadian Football League has disciplined a pair of Saskatchewan Roughriders for their actions in Week 11.

Linebacker T.J. Brunson will be lighter in the pocket following his first career CFL game, receiving a fine for a hellacious high hit on B.C. Lions’ returner Terry Williams. He was credited with one special teams tackle on the evening, while also forcing a fumble.

Defensive lineman Anthony Lanier II has also been fined for late and unnecessary contact on Lions’ quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. He finished the game with one tackle, a sack, and a fumble recovery.

Two riders, fined,  same game.

Something to be concerned about for this game. Makes you wonder after the guy that wrecked masoli.

Gapper fans and media are really putting a lot of stock into beating BC and forgetting the rest of the season basically.

It’s called tunnel vision (the tendency to focus exclusively on a single or limited goal or point of view). We as Bomber fans circa 10 years ago understand this. It’s something desperate fan bases participate in quite frequently 😁

BC is a mess right now.  If Noel Thorpe didn't constantly play a defense (cover 0 behind poorly disguised blitz) that's the equivalent of a meaty turkey nicely cooked and waiting to be carved up they would have lost even with Fajardo stinking.

O'Shea's description of why Darby going on 6 game: "We made a move to get Parker on and we'll see how Alden factors in the rest of the season"
