17to85 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 you guys are funny. we have loser qbs so you pine away for an equally loser qb. This. ^^^ if he was an equally loser qb no one would be pining for him. He showed better than these guys with the same coaches and same players, why can people not understand this? No one is claiming he's the greatest qb in the game, just that he was better than what we had here
Floyd Posted September 27, 2013 Author Report Posted September 27, 2013 No one is pining for Brink... or Goltz. Oh wait, Goltz is still here.
blitzmore Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 No one is pining for Brink... or Goltz. Oh wait, Goltz is still here. and Goltz shouldn't be
pigseye Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 People forget that last year was still the Lapo offence and not the new and improved Crowton offence of this year. Unless I miscounted, we have 21 NI's on the 42 man roster......that's 1 more than we need?
17to85 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 People forget that last year was still the Lapo offence and not the new and improved Crowton offence of this year. No entirely true, Crowton put more and more of his stuff in as the year went on last year. All those improvements were credited to him putting his stuff in. The new and improved stuff for this year was done for one reason, to try and prevent Pierce from getting crippled, but PIerce can't play that way so they scrambled to try and change it... and PIerce got hurt. The real ironic part is that a quick release offence is actually something that would benefit Elliott more than Pierce. Just a giant **** up in thought process from the get go.
pigseye Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 Buck was also in the booth with Crowton down the stretch in 2012.
17to85 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 All the more reason he shoulda stayed there going into this season.
pigseye Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 I absolutely agree, the offence was actually half decent down the stretch in 2012 and I don't give Crowton any credit for that whatsoever.
17to85 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 Like I said, the entire thought process from the coaches with regards to the qb and offense was flawed from the get go.

17to85 Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 I do that too thinking that they just dropped the guy for nothing
pigseye Posted September 27, 2013 Report Posted September 27, 2013 You need tunes to go with that http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=anew+revolution+youtube&qs=n&form=QBVR&pq=anew+revolution+youtube&sc=0-0&sp=-1&sk=#view=detail&mid=1598FEBD8D4B574675031598FEBD8D4B57467503
Fraser Posted September 28, 2013 Report Posted September 28, 2013 hall has shown as much as elliott did in a few games and frankly he might have more upside
Blueandgold Posted September 28, 2013 Report Posted September 28, 2013 hall has shown as much as elliott did in a few games and frankly he might have more upside Hall is good for 2-4 interceptions every time he plays and has zero upside. His career potential probably ends at adequate backup QB.
pigseye Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 We're only one NI starter on the dline away from getting things going in the right direction, maybe they can get one from Sask for Hall. http://cfl.uploads.mrx.ca/wpg/pdf/depth/2013/DepthChart_WpgatCal_Oct5_2013100250.pdf

Brandon Posted October 5, 2013 Report Posted October 5, 2013 hall has shown as much as elliott did in a few games and frankly he might have more upside It would be nice to see him have a break out game though.... with Elliott it was either great or poop.... with Hall it's been consistent mediocrity.
