Veteran players pass this knowledge down to the younger players. O'Shea recognizes this as the key to success, based on 30 years of experience inside CFL locker rooms, and it appears he knows what he's doing. For example players like Miller, Briggs and other long time vets. are the individuals that do the one on one teaching on ST, as the STC doesn't have enough hours in the day to answer un-asked questions and teach individuals that need to be brought up to speed quickly on the nuances of the CFL kicking game. Without a well established ongoing culture, you end up with "Your Saskatchewan Roughriders!".

I don't see a problem at all with bringing him to TC and seeing what he's got left in the tank. MOS has shown that if a player isn't making the cut, even a veteran, and we have other options that he will make the change. Winston Rose found that out last year. Yet he played a half injured Bighill in the most important game of the year. Edited February 8 by Rex_Banner Bubba Zanetti 1

Rider cast offs seem to do better everywhere else in recent years. 6 minutes ago, Rex_Banner said: Yet he okayed a half injured Bighill in the most important game of the year. What does that have to do with anything I said? You are comparing apples and baseball bats. He also dressed an injured Schoen and half his lineup was banged up. Should we move on from all of them? Too late...we re-signed Schoen. A coach puts injured/banged up players in the lineup all the time in the playoffs because you hope they can play through the pain and the drop off is steep behind them. You new to the concept or something? Edited February 8 by GCn20

JCon Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 1 minute ago, Doublezero said: Oh yes, CFL Free Agent tracker shows Terry Williams "just" was extended on January 3rd - more than a month ago. Pretty sure that Hardrick was on the limp, probably a few more. It's playoff time, if you are going to field only a team where a player is at full health you will be sitting most of your starters. As a coach, if a player says he can go and is medically cleared you play him because fully healthy does not really exist that time of year. Edited February 8 by GCn20

Sure...however at what point they are is also very highly debateable. I will go with the coach's call on that because everyone outside of that dressing room is only talking out their ass. He saw how they were moving in practice. None of us did. Edited February 8 by GCn20

Dirty30 Posted February 8 Report Posted February 8 Kind of frustrating not hearing that the Bombers are talking to any other teams free agents. I’m sure they have had some discussions, but as a fan it would be nice to hear something.
