Sure, and we might well draft one global punter if the other guys we picked aren’t coming (doesn’t seem like they are) with two kickers in camp though and one punter I don’t think we see more than one leg if that. I as gonna say the exact thing....and doesnt hurt to have a backup place kicker in case of an injury...a global punter is a waste unless he is something special and consistantly swings the tide of game in your favour (and that Global would be down south anyway)...a DL guy...DB...gives you way more benefits, and an overall better roster wbbfan, Piggy 1 and rebusrankin 3

JohnnyAbonny Posted April 24 Report Posted April 24 (edited) Don’t they still have that 35 year old punter from the Bahamas from last years PR around? Karl Von Schmitz or whatever his name was? Edited April 24 by JohnnyAbonny
JuranBoldenRules Posted April 24 Report Posted April 24 Liegghio's punting cost them a Grey Cup. I think he was basically done here after that game. Mark H., BigBlueFanatic, Jesse and 1 other 4

Ended the season on the pr (unless he was cut before idr) which makes him a fa, who we haven’t signed. 15 minutes ago, JuranBoldenRules said: Liegghio's punting cost them a Grey Cup. I think he was basically done here after that game. Offence lost. You don’t win gcs in the modern era scoring in the low 20s with less tds than the other team. 2 games, 419 passsing yards 2 picks 0 passing tds. That’s how you lose gc games. Fajardo put up 290 3 tds and 1 pick. It’s an offensive, passing league. The two loses blame starts and ends at qb. Other players and positions could’ve won the game for us. But we lost it on offence. Booch Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 (edited) did we not have a Canadian punter in camp last year...who basically got bypassed and ignored as our coaches were all gaga over goofy Ausie style kicks? and then continued with it as our coverage on teams enhanced their suck all yr? We should have just had Castillo kick long bomb field goals with lotsa hang to allow our coverage guys to get down there as opposed to last year where the returner had usually 20 yards of free space to get to top speed and find the seams before we had anyone relatively close to disrupting the return...let alone make a tackle...we sucked so bad last year...was embarrassing Edited April 25 by Booch Tracker, wbbfan and Piggy 1 1 2
