captaincanuck12 Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 Time to take a bite out of the big apple. Can Toffoli score two goals again tonight? Hope the boys line up well in Bones' absence. GO JETS GO! Piggy 1 1
TrueBlue4ever Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 Have to wonder if this is Bowness’ last year behind the bench? 69 years old, had already retired after Dallas before we called him back, and with his wife’s health issue and now this, plus a ready made replacement with Arniel in play, he may decide that slowing down is the way to go now.

I suspect this is true. I would bring him back for 1 more year, but I think the Jets plan was to always have Arneil as the head coach after Bones.
Noeller Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 I thought Bowness only signed a 2 year deal, with the idea that he'd be transitioning to Arniel after this year.... FrostyWinnipeg 1

I think DAL was more of a quit or fired situation IMHO.
TrueBlue4ever Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 Laurent Brossoit needs to appear in 7 of the final 15 games to qualify for the Jennings trophy this year. If you were a coach, would you let him sneak into a game for a minute or so when Hellebuyck is playing just to get to that number? He is targeted to probably start no more than five games the rest of the year.
