If O'Shea passes Grant in playoff wins then undoubtedly he would be the top coach in Bomber history.

Bud has 15 playoff wins and Mike sits at 8. You'd think a few Grey Cups would be included in those additional wins.

Yeah I second that. O'Shea is the GOAT when he wins his 5th cup.

Has there been any reporting out of camp about any of the linebacker prospects? The interviews are nice but I miss the old "who stood out" format to camp reports.

I saw a clip of Gemmel making an interception for what that is worth

None that I’ve seen

I've got a shiny nickel for each of you who finally decides to shut the **** up about last years cup.

Ok then, looking forward instead of looking back. Here’s and either/or hypothetical for people:

If you had to choose between these two options, would you rather -

1. Have a guaranteed Grey Cup win this year but no guarantees for even making the playoffs next year, or

2. Missing the playoffs this season but getting a guaranteed berth in the Grey Cup game next season at Princess Auto Stadium?

Win Grey Cup both years. Those other options suck.

Option 1. I’ve seen them lose 6 grey cup games in my lifetime, a sure win means more to me than a berth.

He started because ford wasn’t here. Kramdi isnt going any where, and he’s the ideal guy to have as the back up db and package guy.

Ford plays corner and Kramdi plays SAM… Kramdi won’t be backing up Ford… I actually think there’s a good chance both are starting

In that hypothetical, ford got hurt I’m pretty sure Kramdi would come in at dime (if he wasn’t already starting ) and whichever American would move to Fords spot.

They don’t need to play the same spot to platoon.
That would be 2 ni starters with no back up in cover. None of our ni Ss can cover guys directly. If one or both went down it’d be game over.

Unfortunate. Was for sure the guy I was hoping would grab that spot.

For sure. He had some legit top level college production.

Looks like the new guy Vann signed with the Stamps back in April and was in camp with them until his release 3 days ago

I thought Hill was nicked up. They may keep him around given his potential

I'm going to make a bold prediction and say  Peter Afful, Jr is going to take that 5th receiving spot.

Have you been to TC to see him? Just curious.

Just a feeling based on the article they had on him, where he said he wants to follow the path Dalton took. Feels like a Mafia guy.

From what I've gathered about Josh Vann, he appears to be a solid CFL prospect. He doesn't posses a singular skill or physical attribute that flies off the page and I believe that's why no NFL team is bothering to develop him on a practice roster. He posses good smarts and vision and this helps him to read the defense and put himself in a position for a catch plus yak yards. Despite facing challenges with drops early in college, he's managed to overcome them and establish himself as a reliable pass catcher. He's 5 foot 10 which i think is fairly average in the CFL and has good jumping ability and body control. He's a guy I think we could develop. Unfortunately I don't see him making much of an impact at WR and is more of a slot type of guy in the CFL.

That Griffin guy was a starter for Calgary last year in five games

Looks like he started games at safety, dime and field halfback based on their depth charts. And did so as a rookie. That's a solid add at this point in camp to kick the tires on and see if he can help the team out in some way

Hope not...that doesn't allow us to field the best lineup if we do...and no reason to start 3 on defence...none..zip

Same...odd...maybe he just wasn't fully into it..

I'm sure all the guys who are here would say same thing...I see us keeping a bigger guy instead...more conducive to what Bailey did

"He's a great CFL prospect because he's super average at everything"

Wow what a sell 😂

I was viewing it as his smarts are a real asset in the CFL. On paper a lot of CFL greats don't have any one skill that flies off the page for NFL scouts.  Even Milt or Arland Bruce probably would have been categorized like this by NFL teams. In Milt's case it was really his smarts that make him such a good CFL receiver. His measurables alone would not have made him standout verses half of the receivers in the CFL.
