JuranBoldenRules Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 Last thing...if they nationalized Jefferson they could get another 22 snaps out of the DI's on D. Will be incredibly stupid if they don't. TBURGESS, wbbfan, rebusrankin and 3 others 6
Fatty Liver Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 1 hour ago, wbbfan said: Only real option would be digging up some junk like corny. The Stamps have Maier, Shiltz, Stevens, Bonner + rookie Vantrease who didn't look too bad, if they keep Stevens for 3rd downs they'll be forced to put Bonner on the PR or cut him, and I think he has the potential to be the best of the bunch. He spent last season on the PR so I doubt he wants to spend another year treading water, timing wise this could be an opportunity for the Bombers to acquire a potential future replacement when Zach calls it a day, which is a harder case to make for Strev. or Wilson. wbbfan, billfrank and TBURGESS 3

Booch Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 there is definately the opportunity this yr to make a few surprise cuts, or at the least turn a few guys into role/rotational/situationl players, and way to keepthe 5 main guys who popped off the page in practices and both games...and against the other teams projected starters....I just don't think Osh has the plums to do it tho....but maybe we will be pleasantly surprised Stickem, rebusrankin and Piggy 1 3

Mike Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 I’ve pretty much got the same idea for a roster as JBR but I do think I’d take Bridges over Fuller and I’d take Moses over Gemmel rebusrankin, wbbfan, BBlink and 1 other 4

JuranBoldenRules Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 I’d have a hard time cutting any of Gemmel, Petrishen, Thomas….even Ayers was flying around in this one both D and kick cover…before Moses. Sounds like Moses might have a big injury anyway…which has kind of been an issue for him too. Pedigree means basically nothing when we’re watching reps side by side. Most of them come from Power 5 conferences anyway. Don’t really care where a guy was ranked when he was 17. The next guys for the 2 backer spots could very well be in that group. Petrishen and Gemmel are ready to go. JCon, BigBlueFanatic, coach17 and 1 other 4

Colin Unger Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 It was a poor decision to go into the game without either Zach or Chris but I also think that we dealt with a fragile Dave Dickeson ego. He hates losing to the bombers so much because of how badly he's been dominated by the Canadian mafia that he kept a lot of vets in in for most of the game. I hope he enjoys this. Maybe he'll frame a newspaper article about the game and put it on the wall of his office. 6 minutes ago, Bigblue204 said: He's a DE/DT Also a punter! 10 hours ago, JuranBoldenRules said: Here's a cut at Week 1 roster (Need 6 Canadians on O every snap, 1 Canadian on D every snap): QB- Collaros, Streveler, Wilson RB- OLIVIERA, AUGUSTINE, ROSERY, Smith* REC- WOLITARSKY, DEMSKI, Lawler, Schoen, Johnson CLERCIUS OL- KOLANKOWSKI, DOBSON, NEUFELD, Bryant, Lofton WALLACE DE- Jefferson, Haba/Garbutt (whoever is healthy) Upshaw*, HEBERT DT- Fox, Adams THOMAS, SCHMEKEL SAM- Cole MAC- Gemmel WIL- Wilson Petrishen*, KRAMDI, GAUTHIER, CADWALLADER, Karamoko (G) CB- Ford, Fuller FORD HB- Holm (could shift to corner), Nichols S- HALLETT, KELLY K- Castillo* P- Sheahan (G) LS- BENSON Practice Roster: Thomas (LB), CHRIS-IKE (RB), Weitz (G), Bridges (DB), Coleman (OT), Barnett (Rec), MURPHY (REC), VLAHOGIANNIS (OL), Ivy (OL), Norman (DB/LB), SAMSON (DL), CHARBONNEAU (LB) IR: Bighill, Alexander, Haba/Garbutt, LAWSON, ELI I think Chris-Ike might be on the roster because we don't have another fullback. wbbfan 1

do or die Posted June 1 Report Posted June 1 Just rooks with more rooks lined up in front and behind them......without vet stabilizers, anywhere in sight. Not a typical X game at home Coaches sure got a lot of tape for evaluation, anyways Entertainment be damned.

Yeah I should’ve clarified, I’m happy we didn’t keep Yoshi. Just meant we could’ve.
