GDT Testing our offence without a QB

It’s unfair to the o guys when your qb is **** but to be fair, the oline was complete ****.

Right? Johnson, O. Wilson could be players with our actual offence. Impossible to tell with who they brought out tonight.
I know they’re banking on what they saw seeing Zach throw to whoever in practice but it’s kind of frustrating to have an open spot at WR and not have the starting QB throw to any of them in a game situation for even a series.

Giving the offense no chance to execute anything seems like an insane strategy

is this coaching collobaration the best our brain trust can do ... or is it the actions of a mad man?

Fuddle Duddle!

The Maestro dropping the snap ....making it look like a fumble (or was it) then scampering down the field was the hi lite of the game offensively....besides the return for a td....booyah....Feel sorry for the receivers who were trying to do their thing as the turf was the target for a lot of Wilson's .....ahem ..attempts....big disappointment....We're going to have a tough decision on the DL as a few guys showed well....Like Rivers and Upshaw.....There's going to be a lot of departures that might catch on  somewhere else... The big look for a third string QB should start in earnest shortly

Haba, Garbutt, Upshaw are tough competition.  Would have liked to see more pressure from Rivers because if he's opposite Jefferson he'll have to be the guy pressing into the pocket.

those first three have done more to pop out than Rivers for sure. I know he's got pedigree or whatever, but the other guys just out there making plays and Rivers exists.

This is just the cherry on top of the let’s make training camp as pointless as possible sundae

Before you all jump all over me, yeah there are guys to be excited about but this is two years in a row now we’ve just completely misused our preseason

It's only comparable to last year if they cut all these guys who have made plays because let's be honest here, no one last season popped off the page like some of the guys have this preseason. It's night and day IMO the difference in ability between the two years. Kyle Walters and co kind of sucked last offseason.

Rather see Thomas in from the start over Wilson and Kelly over Hallett honestly but I’d have to agree this is the most realistic for week 1.

You guys are probably right about Rivers. I bought in because of the sack in the first game.

They'll have all those Canadians playing on D at different times aside from a couple pure special teamers.

True enough. Wilson though is a guy I’d really prefer they move on from or lessen his role, especially after what we saw from the new guys tonight. Like you were saying before he’s +30 and always hurt.

He played 4 nfl games but then blew his acl? I think it was. Might not be the same guy he was then. Even though he has been solid.

JBRs roster is good. I too would slide in a second imp lber. Either way I’d throw petrishen on the pr and Moses might make the club in the tub.
Honestly I hope our roster management is that good.

I hope we can see what we actually have for o line personnel while kolo  rehabs

I’d be pretty worried if vhlagio is on our ar as a 6th ol. Dobson neuf Wallace inside would tear up dls though.

Wallace struggled badly in this one.  Bad reads in pass pro, slow feet in general, leaning.  Kind of concerned with him as our 6th but I don't think Eli will be ready.

My apologies for GDT ... I just woke up late last night with a night mare re our offense ... it turns out that the O was worse than my night mare

I do not comment much but some times i just have  to say something ... passion you know

Tough to say honestly given the views available, the heavy turn over on the ol through the game and the awful performances on O. I wouldn’t worry about him as a 6th either way. I do hope Eli is good to go soon though.

Yeah you don't fall in love with American WIL backers.

That's a spot where you have a guy on a rookie deal.

It’s funny how we went from not paying jsk to marrying Kyrie. He’s had some incredible stints of high level play here but he’s JJ as a wil.

Just finished fleeing the stadium, with about a thousand of my fellow attendees.....
A punt return and and run from the punter, pretty well covered it.
D-Line the highlight tonight......we seem to have enough pieces, for a good rotation......
Mix of good and bad in the back 7.....
McGee got caught looking into the backfield....got toasted....then got a bit tentative.....
Offense.......offensive.   Blocking bad.  Receivers looked like chickens running around.
You can put "Wilson with a 4 yd in route" .......on his headstone.
....that is when he wasn't throwing it to nowhere in particular......
Why is last years punter.....still the punter?
Chris Smith has a spot for now, as returner..
Buck is in love with that Jet Sweep.  Next step - make it work.
I waited years for this?  Did they not understand I was watching?
Well, one can only laugh....or cry.  Had to make a choice.
OK
Laughing for getting excited about a Rosery 4 yard run..
Laughing while watching "Quarter Highlight packages" on the Jumbo....
Laughing while watching the Blue take a time out 17 seconds before the 3 minute warning
Laughing about the official head count of 24,297

I am talking about the insane personnel strategy we employed on offence tonight... What kind of brain trust/collaboration came up with this? I have never seen this kind of player and fan abandonment in an exhibition game… Not ever.

Do we need to bring in psychiatrists for group coaching therapy?

In the name of the evaluation, tonight's offence was offensive, a complete waste of time for half of our team… It was actually counterproductive
