The legendary Irish Paul of Winnipeg has made it his go-to place, since the closing of Stone Angel Brewing. That's all you need to know. It's legit.

Legendary lol that guy sucks

Took Rasheed 1.5 years on the PR to break him of the habit, but just wait till he comes back, he's set to unleash some pent up emotions.

Sheed was producing right away but had issues with drops and rough starts to the season. He signed during the season in 2019, and started 9 games that year. Then all 14 the following year. No 1.5 years on the pr. Not .5 either.

Pretty darned good, if you ask me.

it’s a good class but also a sign of weak ni depth to start with.

Not sure where either of you are getting that info but looks like you are both wrong.  He definitely did not spend a year and a half on the PR but he did bounce back and forth in 2019.

According the CFL site, he was with the team from camp in 2019 as we added him to the roster in April.  He only played 8 games that season - he was on the injured list from mid-June to mid-July and then bounced back and forth from the PR until September.  He didn't record a single stat until week 13 (Banjo Bowl) at which time he stayed on the active roster.

You can see the game logs and his transaction history pretty easily (like I had no idea that BC had briefly signed him way back in 2015).

I am seeing some odd contradictory stats on various sites with 4,5 and 9 starts. I think what happened was he was here in tc, got hurt came back to the pr then the bouncing before locking in a spot around ld.
At most he spent about a half season bouncing between the ir and pr, with about as much time on the ir.

And yeah he was one of those odd guys who came to the cfl didn’t really play and got to the nfl then came back. Made good money down south too I think a couple mil.

Will this be the year O’Shea ties/breaks Grants win record? O’Shea is at 96, Grant was 105. 9-9 season ties the record. Pretty incredible start to his coaching career.

I would bet on him breaking it for sure

Either way, I think we will still be in the market for a wr. Probably see more nfl cuts cycle through. It’s not a high priority spot like RT imo, but finding some one who can bring some thing different would be great. A kr catch and run guy who can run the sweep would be nice.

Kinda like Mitchell who did that last game.

Except well, 7 attempts to involve him, 5 touches, 25 yards. Maybe he will do better in real games, but it doesn’t often happen that guys play better vs starters than teams 2/3/4.

Scheme/plays/qb play will all improve.

It will. His opportunities will improve, but his play making won't imo. He did a lot of catch and run stuff, the PA roll out screen, the jet sweep etc. He will have more room and get the ball in a better position but I think he will still get taken down by the first guy most of the time. I don't think he has that escapability, shifty, quick twitch style, or the power to break any tackles. He reminds me of a less stocky vinny sutherland. Straight line pretty decent wheels, down with first contact. We will see soon enough.

To be honest, 5th receiver isn't a position I expect a lot of production out of.  What I do expect from that spot is someone who blocks well in both the pass and run game and be incredibly efficient with the touches he does get - he needs to buy in and play his role well.

That would be good, but doesn’t seem the direction we are going. All our imps for that last spot are very wirey and don’t have that skill or reputation currently.  If these guys don’t work out I could see us rolling the extra ni and doing just that.

I think you'll be surprised by who we deploy in those screens/sweeps!

I expect we will see our 5th wr / KR do a lot more of it than ever before. We ran down dressler really bad with that role. Then Demski came in and filled it masterfully while blocking his tail off and being a depth wr. Now, demski is a mainstay of our passing attack and getting older, having trouble staying healthy. We banged up schoen at the worst time of year doing that, woli and lawler aren't the guys to run that package at all. I think brady will expand with more screen stuff, but especially the sweep and wide out screens jail break etc will almost certainly go to our kr/5th. I think streveler might find some use in those packages as well.

I don't know how to do percentages. But I'm pretty good at word problems.

If we divide our pizza into ten slices, four slices are on the team, one slice is on the practice roster, one is on the suspended list, and four slices were eaten by your friends.

you forgot that our 10 slice pizza only came with 9 slices and there's no guarantee Dominos will ever be providing that final slice

Wicked deal. Is that place any good? Is it a proper Irish public house place?

It’s definitely not a proper Irish pub, but it’s a good spot with a decent selection of beers and good food.  I’ve done this deal many times from the Grant Park location.

Strevy

Yeah I think we will see a bit of that. However, we can't over do it. Strevy is our no2 qb and it is a huge drop off after that.

And if people don't think that defences will take the opportunity to tee off on Streveler if they put him in that position regularly they are sadly out to lunch.
