I just got mad thinking about 1 how bad that playing surface was, and 2 how they’d not let visiting teams on it til the last minute so it was always a mad rush to prep cleats.

am I alone in never tuning out/ turning off? Seems like most every one I know will turn it off at some point. I’m just too masochistic to do it, it’s like touching a hot element and refusing to stop lol.

I also never leave a game early, nor do i turn off the game, no matter how much they are down, or up. Has resulted in some spectacular comebacks, but just as many implosions. One of the reasons I love the game so much... even down 20 points, in the CFL you can stack 'em up quickly.

Yeah. I know he didn’t really get a first tc, he came in and played preseason right away then started. But he’s played a lot of games and been with the team for getting close to two seasons.
When you do worse consistently it’s seldom over come. He basically came in with 1 move and since it got countered hasn’t done jack.

yup....good depth but time to try a new option

8 straight seasons with a 5 game win streak. That’s a crazy stat

The Blue Bombers are on a five-game heater, making it the eighth consecutive season of posting at least one five-game winning streak. Since their 0-4 start, the club has a 7-2 record, best in the league”

when the games get really important...and big...we will be pretty happy we have Lawler.....and he will come up huge...You can bank on that

I agree. In live games, you can see they are often close to connecting.

We kind of are a spoiled fanbase. We are the New England patriots with Brady and The New York Yankees of the cfl.  We are no longer the underdog. We are the top dog. I remember when we barely won 5 games a year. Now we on heaters of 5 plus for 8 years.

You can **** on Osh for maybe the roster management but again 8 years of 5 plus game winning streaks, but obviously there’s a method to his madness and you can 100 percent say it works. Ya but we lost in the grey cup twice. Ya but we have been to 4 Straight. 3 of 5 is better than 2 of 4 tho.

I'll gladly take a Grey cup this year. And **** it, next year too.

Without Woli, Lawler has become a crutch for Zach to rely on, an underused Demski is more of a serious issue, he should be visiting the endzone a lot more than he has this season.  Those deep over the shoulder catches are serious game breakers that have been missing from the attack.

The entire passing game is broken.
Play call is bad, still running much of the same stuff from plop era, every one knows our tendencies.
Zach isn’t getting enough time in a clean pocket. Going into the 4th Q he didn’t have a single pocket that lasted 3.5 seconds. Nearly every thing was out in under 3. Ford had multiple 4+ second pockets, and two insanely long ones. Zach made the token bad give away after a giveaway, but played well enough out side of that.
For wrs, lawler isn’t getting the same looks, and schoen was the guy who bailed us out on broken plays. Lawler is struggling as the whole pass game struggles. I’m not concerned about his play. If we fix the issues around him he will come good.

To a large extent you can only throw what opens up against the coverage.

Edmonton drops 3-4 every single down and if it's 3 or less there's a cut cover in there too.  Not much opportunity to bust off a corner route on them.  Saw in second half a lot more routes where there were double posts for example to open up someone else running a dig under.  Big play to Wheatfall and TD to Wilson both.

Bombers really need to open up quick stuff to get ball out wide and force a D like that to make a tackle.

Our receivers in general seem to not be on the same page as Collaros when it comes to attack those zone looks vertically, especially Lawler.  Guy dropping out and guy bracketing overtop doesn't mean run corner between them, means flatten out and get to the numbers/sideline for the ball.

Lawler should be playing boundary wideout IMO.  He's most likely to get 1 on 1 vs a DB there if Bombers run routes to isolate him.

Collaros has always sucked at the quick stuff.

The most overlooked point of the season on this forum.

The league figured out our passing game last year, and nothing’s really evolved at all.
