In 1990, he did throw for 2,960 yards & 16 touchdowns but had 19 interceptions. He had a 52.8% completion percentage. I wouldn't call that bad. That would be average. Mr. Perfect and wbbfan 2

It's embarrassing for them to live in such delusions. It is more fun to watch old hockey and football because of the high scoring and far larger margin of blown coverage and misses. It's just hilarious to me that people are so simple that they think that the players of yester-year could compete in todays game. Stop embarrassing yourself, it's sad. We’ve seen much better kick cover years than mulligan though that didn’t get the nod. For teams, grant has just under 2000 return yards between punts and kick offs with 4tds. We also have 2 kickers with over 50 makes and 93% make rate or higher. Griffin and Ayer’s have more sts tackles per game with less games played. Castillo has made an insane 9/13 from 50 or deeper. If he didn’t have that first game and or maybe the bad late season game he’d be a very strong candidate. At that, cadwallader has been our best teams player imo. Blocked kick, forced fumbles and tremendous cover work. Vs Mulligan being tied for 2nd in stts.

I could be wrong but I don't think a ST player other than a kicker or returner has ever won the award before and isn't likely to this season. It will probably comes down to Janarion who certainly deserves acknowledgement for his career work, or Sean Whyte who has been outstanding in making 50 of 53 FG's this season, with the ceremony in Vancouver Whyte will probably be chosen the Belle of the Ball just for the extra media attention it will generate. Never forget they gave this guy an award in Regina, just for showing up at the ceremony on time with his shoes on the right feet. No cover guy has ever won it. 3 have been runners up on career years. The goat, arakgi, and beswick. All 3 put up better years in less games after multiple years of being a top kick cover guy. Wade miller twice broke the cfl sts tackle record and never finished as a runner up. Mike sellers as an up back routinely beat gunners and bullets down field to make tackles while dominating with his block. He pinched in a couple times as a ls, and was one of the best short yardage players in the world. He literally went to the pro bowl on the strength of these facets of his game after he left. Baron miles never got a look despite breaking the all time blocked kick record. If some one breaks through, they gotta do more than be in the top few with the usual number of sts tackles. Or like you said, the green bias carry’s another guy to an award they don’t deserve. The league should really completely overhaul the selection and award process this off season. rebusrankin and Fatty Liver 2

rebusrankin Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 Yardage and TDs are light. Milt set the overall TD record is his MOP year. Banks led the CFL in both receiving yards and TDs in his. Williams 18 set a receiving TD record. Murphy had 116 receptions in his (still a club record). Simon and Fernandez both are just outstanding years. Also better team success than BC. Media seems determined to not give it to Brady. Of and my above research while stellar took under 10 minutes and writing about the CFL is not my job. Atomic Posted October 25 Report Posted October 25 1318 rush yards plus 465 receiving yards for a total of 1783 yards from scrimmage and 4 TD. Against Mcinnis 1469 yards and 7 TD. It's not close. And Brady will likely stack up more yards on Saturday. Brady carried the Bombers' offence, dragged it out of the dirt and made it somewhat respectable. Everyone knew we couldn't pass and he gained yardage even when there was nothing. He's the MOP and the MOC and it's not close.
