The only thing Calgary had going for it, is it has nice facilities for hosting the parties and stuff. But the actual stadium for the game is a joke.

The horse's name must be Patience.

Guarantee this is a last ditch attempt to salvage season ticket renewals

I heard they were down around 3500 this season, don't know if that's true.  All those filthy rich oil companies making bank and they can't sell corporate tickets???

Or contribute to a new stadium?

My communist ass will show itself out.

Nothing communist about private sector funding. Need more of that across the board.

What an embarrassment that will be for the CFL. Hosting the premier event at a stadium that looks like it's been abandoned by an American High school team.

Perhaps part of it is hope they do some Renos by then. You can put lipstick on the pig for 1 game.

A new coat of red and white paint is about all they'll do, paint the entire stadium in stripes to dazzle the eye and hide the cracks.

The butt grooves in the benches at McMahon are simply not sufficiently sized

I was at the Grey Cup in 2019 and I wasn't impressed with the size of the seats.

Hardly any room to move your arms if bigger bodies are sitting beside each other.

Calgary Sports & Entertainment Corporation (CSEC owned by Murray Edwards) said there's be no renos or improvements done. What an embarassment. Ambrosie & the BOG's gave the Grey Cup to them as the league knows they'll have only a couple of thousand season ticket holders after this year & the owner's refusal to fire Dickenson.  They can't market the team anymore. People refuse to buy tickets.

Or he is waiting to see if there are consequences for the Lions epic fail this season. Good chance some people walk the plank.

Oh for sure. The Stamps can't sell tickets anymore. No one wants to go to the games except the die hards which is shrinking every year. This off season, thousands are going to cancel their renewals so the Grey Cup was gifted. You & I know that, 17to85. I find it interesting that no one in the media or on social media has said that. Like, the fact no one cares about the Stamps is just being ignored.
