Could be, I certainly wouldn’t be shocked. It just seems way early for it to be a foregone conclusion.

Apparently he auditioned for the Rider HC job and was turned down, so his ego would have smarted after that. Ergo. with his connections to the Beastly Lions, he would be interested in the HC job out there. Despite some of his very questionable calls as OC here, he has served us well and thus I do not begrudge him this opportunity.

For sure, I think every coordinator has made their share of questionable decisions here and there, but you’d have to think Buck is up next.

rebusrankin Posted Saturday at 10:17 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:17 PM (edited) According to TSN this afternoon, the speculation is Campbell stays as BC coach but maybe loses his GM role or Ridgemaiden is made Co-GM. All this talk of Buck leaving could be a moo point. Edited Saturday at 10:18 PM by rebusrankin CodyT, Atomic and JohnnyAbonny 3

I’d laugh pretty hard if they had to clean house and rebuild again after they got crowned so early by the media this year. rebusrankin and Noeller 1 1

All this talk of Buck leaving could be a moo point. That would make sense. I feel like the gm market will be tougher than coaching. I think Chucking Campbell entirely or as coach makes the most sense but that doesn’t mean it’ll happen. If you don’t replace him with proven winning hc a guy like buck makes sense. That said maksymic has to be on the way out now. But with out a bigger label it’ll be hard to get an oc whose proven. I think buck has a good shot in Ottawa too.

CodyT Posted Sunday at 07:25 AM Report Posted Sunday at 07:25 AM I think it'll be tough for buck to leave winnipeg with a home grey cup next year. After next year I think all bets are off. But I'd be surprised if he went anywhere JohnnyAbonny 1

If some one offers buck an upgraded job this off season, I think he goes. I think the chances he gets that offer is pretty limited though. 7 hours ago, Mr. Perfect said: It's like a cow's opinion. I have it on good authority that Buck got the sense Mace was going to get offered the job & then decided to turn it down. There was absolutely no scrambling to get CM lol. Initially Buck was considered the favorite, until Mace absolutely crushed his interview, and they decided to go CM's way. JCon and Atomic 1 1
