Just a fun thread for people to give their completely subjective and superficial rankings of the teams so far.

  1. Montreal - in order to be the man you have to beat the man and, for this week at least, Montreal stays on top.
  2. Toronto - as much as it pains me to see these boys in blue getting it done, they did and did so against a quality opponent in BC
  3. BC - offense looking as potent as ever with VAJ making plays in and out of the pocket.
  4. Calgary - Offensive play calling keeping Maier in a safe place and they put up 32.
  5. Riders - earned a come from behind win against an Elks team that continues to find ways to lose.
  6. Hamilton - you can't convince me that the redneck Johnny Lawrence isn't cooked.
  7. Edmonton - Chris Jones just can't get out of his own way and help the team succeed
  8. Winnipeg - in a league where offense is king, the offense looked abysmal and disinterested.
  9. Ottawa - in the cellar by virtue of the fact they didn't play this week and I have nothing to judge them on.

Sorry can't agree with a team who is 0-1 being ahead of two teams that are 1-0. BC does not deserve that spot. Or that much respect.

1. Toronto - top to bottom they looked the best.  I’ll take Cameron Dukes as a starter

2. Montreal - say what you want but they owned us

3. Calgary - was quite impressed with the Calgary play calling. Maier looked like Matt nichols dinking and dunking. Not exciting but efficient and effective

4. Sask  - kinda default. Having to come back to win puts them 4th

5. BC  - not sure VAJ lasts the season  not impressed with their D at all. Duck n chuck isn’t sustainable

6. Edmonton - they looked ok for 3 quarters really

7. Hamilton - just never really in it against Calgary  I do not believe in BLM

8. Bombers -  the D was probably better than BC EDM Hamilton and maybe even Sask but they got zero help from the O and sp teams including Sergio Garcia Castillo

NR Ottawa.

Montreal - Owning us makes you the best

Toronto - Didn't miss a beat without Kelly

Calgary - Maier took the sacks instead of throwing the picks

Saskatchewan - Beating Edmonton doesn't impress me much

BC - Needs to fix their O and D lines

Hamilton - BLM looked better than he has in a couple of years

Edmonton - Looked closer than last year, but still found a way to lose

Winnipeg - Worst showing of the week, yes we do need the stinking practices

Ottawa - TBD

Not convinced we should be that low. Played the shittiest we've played in a long time. Is that indicitive of who we are? Guess time will tell. We were also playing the Grey Cup Champs who looked like the most gelled team this week.

It is week 1 so there isn't a tonne to go on. But I'd have us 4th right now behind Montreal, Toronto and BC.

that's the fun part about power rankings... it doesn't matter the record... it's all about how each team played/looked... if the Bombers fought back in the second half to only lose by a few points... you could easily make the case for them in the top 4
