I dont think Kolo knows what to do after a chip...50 block, or when to release engagement...orjsut cant maintain it..

I think a lot of Kolo's deficiencies stem from him being unable to sustain his blocks.

He was routinely manhandled by more physical / athletic linemen last year and that's rearing its ugly head again this year.  Perfect example is how Mustafa Johnson was consistently eating Kolo's lunch last week.

Are you denying the sacks happened or just being selective in your criticism of the O-line play?

Just adding my two bits here .. none of the three interior linemen get a pass for last night - each of them were bad but, of the three, Dobson was "least bad".

Yeah any team that’s good over multiple generations of players gives guys like Neufeld the old ultimatum before/during camp.

I don’t remember a game in the last year where I didn’t see Kolo get knocked on his pratt at least once. He looks like the passive fat kid that gets put on the OL in peewee just because.

I’m being accurate. He was the 2nd best ol last night. He’s maybe the most athletic lineman in the entire league. Guards play with bend too lol.

100%. He just gets driven back by every one.

dobson does get a barely passing grade only Bryant gets a good grade. Lofton is a mild fail, neuf and kola get the worst grade our ol has seen in years.

He’s skinny fat build too. He’s small for the position and about as athletic as the average poster on here.

Lofton isn’t a tackle, he’s a guard. Kolo isn’t a pro ol. All he can do is snap. Literally that’s it. We are going to see a nose player every game he starts till his career is done.

Faint praise, you can see by Stanley's body language he's re-living 2015-16 and wondering why he came back.

Well he can quit if that’s his body language already. Guy has also lost a step.

I wonder when Wade will have a sit down with him.....Let's see....we lost the Cup....then 2preseasoners ....and now 2 reg. season games.... and I don't see a win next week in BC.....Does OSH blame it all on injuries if the losing streak continues????or does it go deeper

Hear me out... that first game against bc last year where they thumped us... that broke collaros. Sure he rebounded in the rematch against bc, but ever since then he's become gunshy in the pocket. It was only saved last season because of Brady Oliveira and the run game. I really thought the ability to tandem streveler and collaros was the key to getting collaros through the season... so let's give streveler some qb plays and not just make him run into the line. Prukop could do that if that's all you want.

I would agree with this - particularly with how they're using Streveler, he hasn't even thrown a pass yet this year which is becoming super predictable.

I think that was a big step backwards moment for him for sure. I think the gc loss to the argos started it

Maybe because I saw it live but to me it was the 2022 loss in Hamilton.
He got absolutely destroyed like 5 times that game. The first time as a Bomber that he got just beat to ****.
He was a little awry for the rest of 22.

23, I don’t think it was the BC game. He bounced back nicely and shredded them a few weeks later.
To me, it was getting demolished by Ceresna in the Edmonton game, he was never quite as sharp afterward.

These things compound. Especially a QB with a history of head injuries, those incidents must add up to his comfort level in the pocket.
