Goalie Posted Thursday at 10:37 PM Report Posted Thursday at 10:37 PM (edited) Stamkos is washed and overpaid. Marchessault ain’t it outside of Vegas. The only D they have is Josi. They traded all the other good ones and the only real good forward they have is forsberg and he’s not meshing with the over paid free agent signings. Where’s your banner now *******. Sounds like maybe they tried replacing heart and soul with washed free agents. Shocked it’s not working. Chevy in my opinion deserves gm of the year because usually not involved in the dumb overpays for free agents. This is why we shouldn’t be upset or disappointed when we don’t sign a dude to a terrible contract on July 1. Edited Thursday at 10:40 PM by Goalie
Tony Fresco Posted Saturday at 06:54 PM Report Posted Saturday at 06:54 PM (edited) Matt Rempe of the Rangers was ejected for the 4th time in 22 career games. He will also receive an in-person hearing for this hit and had already been suspended once for elbowing.. Edited Saturday at 06:55 PM by Tony Fresco
Brandon Posted Saturday at 07:07 PM Report Posted Saturday at 07:07 PM Has the league ever banned a player for being dangerous?
Tony Fresco Posted Saturday at 07:28 PM Report Posted Saturday at 07:28 PM 15 minutes ago, Brandon said: Has the league ever banned a player for being dangerous? Found this: Billy Coutu was the first, and to date only, player banned from the NHL for life for violence in 1927; he assaulted referee Jerry Laflamme and tackled referee Billy Bell before starting a bench-clearing brawl during a Stanley Cup game between the Boston Bruins and Ottawa Senators. The penalty was commuted after two-and-a-half years, but Coutu never played in the NHL again. Raffi Torres was suspended 41 games in 2015 (the same number of games Shane Pinto was suspended for gambling issues). Torres was for an illegal check to the head on Jakob Silfverberg and interference (longest non-lifetime suspension in NHL history; suspension length was issued because Torres had nine previous instances of NHL rule violations which required supplemental discipline rather than the check itself) BomberBall. 1
TrueBlue4ever Posted Sunday at 02:02 AM Report Posted Sunday at 02:02 AM Marty McSorley was effectively suspended for life for his high stick to the head of Donald Brashear. Originally 23 games and all playoffs in 2000, then extended to a full year suspension, during which his contract ended and he was criminally convicted for assault. Never played another game in the NHL. BomberBall. and Brandon 2
Goalie Posted Sunday at 09:10 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:10 PM (edited) 8 games for Rempe. That’s where the dart landed this time. Edited Sunday at 09:11 PM by Goalie
iHeart Posted Sunday at 09:11 PM Report Posted Sunday at 09:11 PM yeah banned, convicted and earned him a spot among the Air Farce Chicken Cannon targets of 1999 (yeah I know it's random for me to bring up but still) the Rangers troubles continue

It helps them. Now they can’t play this idiot plug who isn’t good enough. 8 games is pretty weak honestly. Dudes played under 30 his career and has been suspended for what? 15 plus games? Rangers now get to play an actual hockey player 5 minutes a night.
