Plus 32 high in Regina. That’s gonna play a role altho by game time I’m not sure. Holy moly that Regina 10 day forecast is wild. What. High 38. Low 18.

It will matter.

Sure the sun will be down, but the toilet bowl will be full. Imagine 30-plus-degree weather in an outhouse? Same odor, same flies, same stifling heat.

Patterson has shown less as a passer than Crum imo. Not a rookie either, been around for some time.

His passing isnt what will give the defense problems.

If you check out the Lapo breakdown of Pokey's big game, you'll see that Zach wasn't force feeding him, he was going where his reads told him to go and that was to Pokey.  He was the blitz read several times and not the first read several times.

Yeah that was interesting.... something else I noticed on the TD throw to Wilson... Collaros has a bit of unease behind centre. Wilson was open earlier on that route and it should have been an easy pitch and catch. but Collaros hesitates the throw a bit and it looks like he feels pressure coming from the right side even though it wasn't really....that makes him climb the pocket and then throw.

Zach Collaros,

It’s time to let it rip and sling it deep today! Enough with the safe plays, go big or go home. We need you to throw those bombs like your life depends on it, like it's 2019 again. Air it out, and let’s blow this game wide open! Imagine holding back now against the watermelon heads. This season has been like having a sports car and never taking it past 30kph. Let’s see those deep throws and make it a game to remember finally.

That's exactly what has been getting him in trouble since last year.

He needs to read the defense properly and put the ball where the read takes him, not where he wants it to take him.

I'd argue it's precisely what earned him back to back Most Outstanding Player awards. He needs to return to that form, playing his brand of football with confidence, not stalling out playing Buck Ball. This is the key to reigniting his dominance on the field, and it's what the fans want.

Nothing wrong with moving the ball and securing first downs, controlling the clock and grinding down their D on a hot summer day.  Throwing bombs all day is a low percentage strategy that may lead to a plethora of turnovers, turn the ball over enough to the Rider D is precisely how they could lose this game.

That's a fair take. I'm just itching for that big play magic we have hardly seen in the past season and a half. A boy can dream.

Corey Mace endorses this message.

Yeah two years ago it worked well. Since then it hasn't.

He also had significantly better protection which allowed him to take those deep shots with greater accuracy .. now .. it's more chunk n duck.

Keys to the game

turn over battle. Riders record has heavily relied upon an extreme turn over disparity. Zach has struggled and we’ve given up some key fumbled. Gotta win the t/o battle.

throw to win, the riders give up the most pass yards. We have to be ready to take advantage of the riders secondary.

sack time, riders have given up among the most sacks in the league and have hardrick out. We’ve got to get home and create presssures/sacks rather than blitz pointlessly.

PAS doesn't look like toilet seat from above. It looks like something that comes to the seat though 😁

Keys 1 and 2: they have talent on O to do all of that - if ZC gets the protection up front.

Key 3: I could see the D not getting consistent pressure and giving up yards and points. O needs to score a lot and stay on the field.

BC Place looks a bit like a toilet lid:

McMahon doesn't have a roof, so no, doesn't look like a toilet: seat:https://www.google.ca/maps/place/McMahon+Stadium/@51.0705269,-114.1220417,421m/data=!3m2!1e3!5s0x53716fa41ee999fd:0x3333a570bd07a8ec!4m6!3m5!1s0x53716fa404414271:0xf0f4b301ee305ac8!8m2!3d51.0704555!4d-114.121497!16s%2Fg%2F11bc65sdpl?entry=ttu

Commonwealth same as McMahon, but bigger:

Mosaic definitely looks like a public toilet seat:
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Mosaic+Stadium/@50.450613,-104.6343478,427m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x531c1e69ca22280d:0xf2ea51d252b531ae!8m2!3d50.4504947!4d-104.6329603!16zL20vMDFfa3B4?entry=ttu

Princess Auto Stadium doesn't have a round roof at all:

BMO Field looks like a box:
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/BMO+Field/@43.6333329,-79.4192868,485m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x882b3505f6ef4351:0x9d2169b3f7b70c2d!8m2!3d43.6331702!4d-79.4186162!16zL20vMDh3Z2Z4?entry=ttu

Tim Horton's Field also looks like a box:
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Tim+Hortons+Field/@43.2522076,-79.8302848,488m/data=!3m2!1e3!5s0x882c9bfd59645a2f:0x3333a570d213c5fc!4m6!3m5!1s0x882c9bfd5ec2c495:0xd057f19def0bffe9!8m2!3d43.2524552!4d-79.8308998!16s%2Fm%2F09gh8gh?entry=ttu

TD place is pretty square as well:
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/TD+Place/@45.3982322,-75.6846403,396m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x4cce05c1c34168f3:0x4a69b90dfe9b6eb2!8m2!3d45.3984036!4d-75.6835728!16zL20vMDNiN3ox?entry=ttu

Percival Molson Stadium is similar in shape to McMahon and Commonwealth:
https://www.google.ca/maps/place/Percival+Molson+Memorial+Stadium/@45.5101881,-73.5811302,279m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x4cc91a36e15778c9:0x25493c3f356f3ea6!8m2!3d45.5101363!4d-73.5807716!16zL20vMDM5MTli?entry=ttu

So yeah, only Mosaic looks like a toilet seat, and the closest other one is the lid that is BC Place.
