GCJenks
Fly overs at the PAS are pretty lame. How many people in the building actually have a sight line of it? From my seats in 125 you can see it when it is approaching from the south until it gets close to the stadium and then nothing but the noise... I was going to say the same - the layout of the stadium isn't great for fly overs. From my seats in 207, I've only seen them after they have flown past (and if they head west afterwards) - otherwise it's just noise for me. I really miss attending the games. When we lived in Winnipeg I loved hearing the ol chat "BC Sucks!" - I still remember to this day when the Lions came to the old stadium with Roy Dewalt as their QB and the bombers defence introduced the 3-4 for the first time. 4 linebackers (James West, maybe Gregg Battle and I can not remember the other two) and they absolutley destroyed Dewalt and the BC offense. The Lions were the heavy favorite that day. I assume they are the heavy favorites tonight also. But that is why you play the game. I was at that game. Tyrone Jones made Roy Dewalt cry like the Jeff's did to Dane Evans in 2019 GC. I don't think Roy was ever the same after that game. He probably still sees Tyrone in his nightmares lol

I remember that game so well as no one knew that the Bombers were going to play the 3-4 defence and I can remember how everyone was scared of Roy Dewalt and his running ability. It was both Tyrone Jones and James (Wild Wild) West that really put the hurt on Dewalt.
johnzo
This was before West and Battle's time. Ty Jones, Frank Robinson, Aaron Brown, Delbert Fowler, and Vernon Pahl were the wreckers in this game. Lions had -50 yards of offense at the end of the first quarter, I don't think I've ever seen anything like that again. 21 minutes ago, kelownabomberfan said: I was at that game. wbbfan
Players to watch #69 Kendall Randolph. Taking the place of neufeld he has a chance to turn around our ok play in a big way. Dobson and lofton have improved so if Randolph can help cover for kola we have a decent chance to protect zach. I worry about his ability to be effective in the run game but that will remain to be seen. lucky 13, boy we really could use a shot in the arm to our wr core and some dynamic game play on the offence. 33 Tony jones looked good last week, both on D and on teams. Hopefully as he gets more comfortable in our system he will shine even more. honourable mention to the return of Jake Kelly. Tracker
I really don't know what to expect tonight, but the Bomber confidence must be shaky, so if they get behind early, I doubt if they can rally and win. wbbfan
