Certainly different this year.  Beasts in the east and west has the weak sisters in CFL standings.

Als continuing to show they are legit. Redblacks had a good D - added a legit QB & improved their OL. Argos not that great - seems their recruitment is not as good as years previous

Als barely beat the Elks. But their record stands for itself....

His touch on the deep balls has improved considerably

Fajardo threw deep successfully a number of times & they weren't jump balls like Lawler has to contend with.  Most were right on target hitting his receivers in stride. CoFaj put on quite a show. He made his receivers look good by putting the balls right on the money. Sure, there were throws that the receivers had to adjust to but if Collaros was throwing like that we'd all be singing his praises as a qb. Then there were times he scrambled & made positive yards with his legs. He isn't the same qb who got run out of town on a rail by Rider Nation.

I don’t care for having to say it, as I’ll never be a fan, but Cody Fajardo is the best quarterback in the league right now, by a lot. He’s hitting receivers in stride, dimes all over the field.

A good OL has done wonders, but yes he’s a far more complete QB than he was with the Riders.

So weird seeing the west like this.

1999 was the last time the east was better iirc. I agree, looking at those standings is a strange visual.
