3 sell -outs in a row.....certainly we sell out the finale as well...especially if we still on a heater and pretty confident we host a playoff game...so gonna close out yr with 5 straight packed house's....no question where the best fan base is

There hasn’t been a question for quite some time now of who has the best fans.

Looking forward a bit... 3-1 in the final four clinches first place (and that's only if BC goes 4-0)... absolutely insane considering the start to the season... I remember talking to my season ticket buddies early in the year and we were disappointed about the prospect of no home playoff game... now we hold the cards to host the WF again

BC really blew it, with the Bomber bad start they had the chance to run away with first place and set themselves up well for a GC run at home, instead they stumbled and fell on their faces.  Rourke, no Rourke, made no difference.

Wow that Jefferson bobblehead is something.  Generic African-American dude who looks nothing like Willie.

I’m intrigued by the possibility of an actual holding call against the Elk’s O line.

I wouldn't be holding my breath, that'd be more likely to draw a penalty.

3 keys,

1, No ancestral magic. Prevent MBT from going off, if he has a sub par game the elk have little chance of winning.

2, Limit the big runs. We got gouged bad last game, gotta atleast limit the amount of 10 yard plus runs.

3, protect zach. Give him time, keep him healthy.

Players to watch,

Adams, coming back in again off the PR. Hope hes hungry and gets good reps.

Haba/garbutt. Once again, these guys are running low on time to produce.

Ayers/cole. Ayers really took over the cole role as a team spark plug and rotational piece. It'll be great if they can play off each other.

Wheatfall, looked like he was refinding that early chemistry with zach. I could see him having a high catch game this year.

Clercius, catches every thing, only a matter of time till he has a break out game.

Will that hat be available online? I love the design! Might have to get my nephew in Winnipeg to snag one for me at the game.

Today’s game is going to be wild. I think the Elks have a better shot on offense with my special space child at QB, BUT a packed house and our defense should shut that down. Zach is finally getting on the same page with his receivers and O-line, and hopefully, they hit their stride in the first half, not the second.

A win today and we clinch the West in spirit if not technically, no doubt. Plus, we’re only getting stronger with guys coming back from injury this fall!

I’d be shocked if they ran that well against us again. DT had some stats that the Elks RBs average something like 2 yards less a carry with MBT at QB vs Ford.

That isn't surprising, but it isn't even the average that is important. We just need to take away the open gaps where backs walk to big plays. We can Give em 5 a carry. If they don't break big runs, our secondary can do what it does.

Yup, being gap sound will be big…. And having Adams out there will definitely help.  Hopefully it puts Thomas on the bench more often….. He’s a gap himself.

Don't think we can count on 6 turnovers again tonight.  Need to be more fundamentally sound.

All their huge run games this year were with MBT at QB.  They run more, they average less per carry but just grind teams down.

Again, with MBT actually being able to pass vs Ford you can't have your HB's, safety eyes in the backfield or you'll get roasted out wide by any number of routes, screens etc.

Having to defend the whole field is a huge advantage to the O and why Ford is so limited in terms of being able to run an offense at this level.

Watch the Lapo video, the only time Ford got positive yards with his feet, was when Jones was fundamentally out of position. You can see him leave his spot and he got burnt......my point is that we had such a focus on Ford and rightfully so as one mental lapse and a couple steps up is all it takes for him to make something happen as in the play I highlighted. We had such a focus on being assignment sound due to Ford having the ability that he does we at times didn't "react" to the running back...it's a catch 22 as if we did that even once, Edm. would have exploited it. We at times look like we had guys "standing" around, but they were actually playing the long game and winning in the field chess match. So yes we gave up runs, but I contend we gave up many of those yards due to the "Ford" factor.

MBT is a very different type of QB, one we scheme differently against as would every other team, so it would make sense that with MBT in the Elks run game would be less as DT pointed out. The running backs are not worse when MBT plays it's that defences have schemed differently. Now in saying that Rankin ran hard and broke a few tackles he will get yards the guy has talent, and IMO that o-line played really well last game, I was surprised how physical and aggressive they played us last week.

The key IMO is to get Brady involved like we did last game, try to have long sustained time eating drives when we are on offence. Play chess and wear them down so in the fourth we can control the game and the clock again. As Suitor loves to point out, when a D-lineman has his hands on his hips he is tired...lol.....MBT will make plays, against a cagey vet like him or Harriss or BLM the best thing you can do is dominate time of possession, and keep them off the field.

my 2 cents.....
