Home field hadn't been the advantage this year that it was in the past... And that's in the summer. We know what Zach turns into once it's cold. Even during Banjo Bowl, things weren't exactly rosy ... That's saying something.

Don’t think it’ll be a blow out but they’ve won lots of close games by grinding it out. BC sucks in the cold and the riders ain’t all that great. Get through that game and then maybe we’ll get to see good Zach in the dome in the cup. Noeller 1

TBURGESS Posted October 27 Report Posted October 27 The wind won it for us, but we never should have had a chance. When they took the ball in the endzone after the 61 yard miss, they should have run around until we put tackled them instead of running the ball out to the 19. That takes 5 seconds off the clock and puts the ball at the 40. Run two sweeps instead of up the middle take an additional 2 to 3 seconds each. Now they've burnt an extra 10 seconds AND they're at their 40 instead of the 20. Even a 20 yard punt is enough to keep us out of FG range and we don't have any time left on the clock anyway. That's saying something. but we also know what the oline and BO morph into in the cold november rain....hopefully Buck remembers Plus that crazy crowd affecting things...we saw it time and time again, and in less than ideal weather....I like our odds....if tho and only if our coaches have this team prepared....coached up.....like legit coached and not left to their own devices and self policing....and we utilize our weapons and pieces effectively I think our only fear of losing is if our coaching fails us....again Blue-urns 1

I just get a vibe like we're gonna see all our bad traits come shining through in a couple weeks and be one and done... We swept back to backs with both bc and sask... I have a ton of confidence in winning the west final. Problem is we've largely seen this team play like ass against the east. blue85gold, Bigblue204, Deiter Fan and 3 others 4 2

We got lucky lucky lucky how it panned out....but we really should have went for it....did a fake punt or something for first time in eons, or even some kind of onside pooched punt to try and get ball back....something creative and with guts Kicking a long range fg...in swirling wins....when he was already short on a shorter kick...plain dumb Blue-urns, Piggy 1 and blue85gold 2 1

Yes we've been winning, and yes we got jobbed in the Argo game, but I'm worried. I felt like we were playing a rather vanilla offensive game yesterday, and BTW is there anyone who doesn't know that we're throwing to 89 when we need a play?? Maybe we're saving some fancy plays for the playoffs, but we just gotta be better. And I agree that we gotta do something with the D line. I am thinking we will be ok. I understand that buck and Younger wanted more of a vanilla game and not tip thier hands on what they have going on for the playoffs... that said, Buck and Zach were able to move the ball at the end when they needed to. That is encouraging. rebusrankin 1

If it bounces through the endzone, they still get it on the 40.

Maybe ,but the fact is, we were still in it with only 2 points difference. So lets not make it sound like we were outplayed. Total yards, 1st down TOP was all very close. GCn20 Posted October 27 Report Posted October 27 Montreal has a good team. Full stop. We went into a very tough place to win, and won. It was a road game against the league leading defending Champs. Not sure why anyone would think this win would or should be pretty, or why one would lose confidence in our team because of it? 15 minutes ago, Bigblue204 said: They moved the ball day long.
