Even worse than Leo Cahill in his first go round with the Argos, He had Joe Theisman going in & out alternating on first & second down with Greg Barton at tines during the 1971 season. It was a clown show. Edited October 30 by SpeedFlex27 wbbfan 1
bb1 Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 Usually in the playoffs the team with the best defense wins. Add to that the home crowd advantage and i hate to say it but i think Sask is gonna win this one.🤢🥵 BBlink 1

Deiter Fan Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 (edited) Perhaps I've seen too many movies in my day...but I can't help but think if the Riders wind up coming to town they're gonna be a little psyched out after the way the boys beat Montreal. No matter how rational one is there has to be a bit of "divine intervention", "meant to be" in the back of your head. And if/when things start going sideways for them that feeling may only amplify leading to forcing things and making it worse. I can see it messing with their heads. Edited October 30 by Deiter Fan

On slow motion replay it looked like maybe the ball was sliding down his chest a tiny bit (very iffy at best) but that's about it. No way the refs on the field could see that in real time. The CC should have stepped in. Noeller 1

Given the rule that it’s not reviewable unless it’s called a turnover I think refs should just err on the side of caution if it’s close and just call it a turnover and let the CC get it right. It shouldn’t be about whether you’re “embarrassing” the refs, just about getting it right. I think most educated fans understand that close calls need replay and the refs are just human. 16 minutes ago, Booch said: Sask secondary and pass defence is one worst in league.....but they have MOP Milligan! lol If they beat B.C which I doubt....I sure ZC will have a game plan to carve em up...then we release the hounds when they try and adapt Like they did in the first half of LDC where Zach had 218 yards! Is it actually a rule though? From their own press release in August, the CFL says the CC can overturn a call that was clearly and obviously wrong. I thought this one was pretty clear that it was an interception and a quick review would have shown that. I think part of the problem (at least this season) is they decided mid-season to change how the CC is supposed to work. To me, that should have been an off-season decision so they could have given the officials/coaches time to adjust and all get on the same page. Quote The Command Centre will only intervene if there is clear evidence that officials have made an obvious error on the field and a correction can occur without causing significant delay. https://press.cfl.ca/command-centre-operations-refocus-on-clear-and-obvious-principle Zach Schnitzer and Fatty Liver 2

Like they did in the first half of LDC where Zach had 218 yards! Its the same problem as when a fumble occurs and the refs let it play through. They call it a fumble even though that is not what they actually saw, and because of the ruling on the field it cant be overturned cause it needs clear and obvious evidence to overturn. To me the answer is on both potential fumble and interceptions the play needs to be reviewed using slow motion etc to get call right. The clear and obvious criteria is good for pass interference and other infractions as the officials call them as they actually see it Edited October 30 by Pete Zach Schnitzer 1

Nolby Posted October 30 Report Posted October 30 (edited) I just want to see Zach finally have an outstanding playoff run stats wise, I don't believe theres been a game yet in the playoffs where hes dominated. I want to see him be able to go out and put up points, keep the defense fresh, and give the Bombers a chance at all 3 phases being complimentary to eachother......this all includes Buck and play calling too. You're going to be vulnerable in other areas, specifically for the riders, areas where they have struggled this year ie down field passes to say Lawler or Wilson/demski etc. And to be fair, if I'm coming into the PAS and it's cold, this is exactly what I'm doing.
