Look at it this way, if the Bombers could backfill with MBT or Arbuckle for a single year heading into next year's GC , they'd be in a much stronger position than they are currently with Dolegala and Wilson as backups.  How many years can Walters roll the dice on Zach remaining healthy for the entire season?  They've already been incredibly fortunate with his health.

"Just one more time, whispered the forlorn gambler to no one in particular."

Arbuckle has basically been complete **** if Dinwiddie isn't his play caller.  Dolegala is better.

Dolegala is also taller.

Was he also the one with a heavy ball?

I started my rewatch of the 84, 88, 90, 19, 21 GCs tonight... Thank goodness for YT...

The league actually put up a HUGE chunk of old Grey Cups as part of... Grey Cup 110?... just have to sign up for CFL Plus https://www.cfl.ca/grey-cup-on-demand-list/

So at the end of the 3rd quarter, when KSB had that catch that was ruled no catch, and Mace tried to challenge it but was told it was already confirmed, the sideline mics picked up O'Shea referencing 'the ******* timeouts you let ******* toronto have'... anyone have any more context on that?

if the ref hadn't allowed Mace to pick up the flag, Saskatchewan would've burned a timeout on a failed challenge, and lost the ability to make another challenge.  Plus there was the short delay in the game while they sorted out the flag and let him pick it up.  that's my guesses.

Oh I figured that. Just curious about the Toronto timeouts haha

Can't remember the details well but In the first game against the Argos, the refs. allowed the Argos a time out late in the game, even though Dinwiddie lost it earlier on a failed challenge.  No conspiracy, simply an accounting error.

You sure about that?

I'm fine with Streveler as our backup for the 2nd half of next year.

Disagree. Streveler is old. In his early 30's. He can't throw with any consistency so we don't need him. Pierce knows that Streveler can't go all i on the playbook so he's given a group of plays that Buck thinks he can actually handle. We won't make the GC in 2025 let alone win it with him at the helm if Zach goes down. Our offense will be severely limited with him at the helm. Time to get on with grooming a new starter for after the 2025 season.

The league later admitted to OShea that the officials should have called a delay of game penalty on the Argos.

and also they effed up in the pick 6 PI non call too....which caused a T.O win

Sure we lost 2 to the Argo's this yr and people making a lot of it....but really....we got jobbed in the one, and the other as well....could went either way...If the team we seen the last part of season shows up, and one last week....it may be over early

Our first half of the season was a write off, as we integrated an almost entirely new receiving corps/OL and battled significant injuries. We were a patchwork group of rookies at most position groups and that takes time. Now we are healthy, rookies have figured it out, team units have developed their chemistry together....I expect a big win. The game a couple weeks ago against the Argos we didn't really show up....I don't believe we will have that problem this week.

They showed up. The game plan was not great (i'm suspecting by design now) and they didn't show the same things as they did last week. I'm hopeful the Offense continues to game plan and play lights out.

Our OL definitely took the night off or were woefully unprepared for that game.

Go watch one of the lapo videos about the argos dl. Highlights why they're hard to handle. With Wallace back I'm more optimistic but kolankowski scares me.

I agree they are tough to handle, but what we witnessed a few weeks back was the interior of our OL getting completely matadored on even straight 1v1 assignments. Sure they can scheme pressure looks and stunts that will give us trouble, but I expect our OL to win 1v1 blocking assignments and that week they were off the mark and just poor reaction time all around. It seemed like they did not have a good week of prep. I expect a far different result this week. I also expect a game plan by Buck that will make them pay if they intend to just bull rush us.

Everyone on Riderfans is celebrating the rude gesture, no apologies anywhere to be found.  Mace must have had Armstead on a choke chain to keep him from running out and joining Cox in the fun, as he did the same thing in TD Pacific before he was cut by the RB's.

Armstead is less than humble. Lacks gratitude and sportsmanship. After the gun he was already in the locker room before Cox displayed his ignorance. The apologists I’ve seen are here.
