Punter and Jake did their usual stuff. Kick cover struggled most of the game. That’s really it. Pretty impressive. Wj was invisible till late too.

if zach has a game like this next week it’ll be all that’s ever talked about. Atleast until next year lol.
He wasn’t overly accurate, but he didn’t throw many dangerous passes and made really good decisions. No forces into heavy coverage. Didn’t have any give aways. That’s what we need.

I wonder how badly we just hurt the riders chances of getting any season ending awards too.

He's seemed to got out of the bad habit of the poor decion passes...and it's reeped results...continue that style and he may put back to back stellar playoff performances...Lawler is also back in a groove...and dangerous which opens **** right up...and BO is on a mission...u could see it...

Yeah it’s huge. We will need the same from those 3 next week, and for maybe one more guy to step up and have a big game. You know the Argos will plan to take away as much of lawler as possible.

Cant add a ton to what has already been said.....

Whitehead muffed one, Sheehan wasn't great, someone blew a contain on their punter on the 3rd down gamble, our kick coverage, while not terrible has been better............

But......the O-line played physical, played hard and won most battles, Wallace and yes Schmekle added "grit".....Zach was dialed in.....Lawler played one of his best in Blue and Gold.......Demski, gave everything and made some hard yards, Brady, the guy just doesn't go down without a fight, and his blocking skills are top tier....speaking of blocking our FB's and receivers also made some fantastic blocks.....Kramdi was everywhere, Holm got tested early and often, but dude won almost every battle, he utterly dominated.....but all the backfield deserves props.......

1. Collaros - Best playoff game he's ever had.

2. Lawler - Huge play after huge play.

3. Holm - Riders thought they could pick on him. They were wrong.

HH: Bucks play calling. Riders were set up to stuff the run. We beat them with the deep ball early and often.

I thought Zach used BO effectively as a decoy even before we established the run as a result of Sasky expecting the run. Much better than when we tried that decoy crap with Strev. :)

Prep as in don’t take them lightly, pound them into the ground, kill them in the air, no mercy, it’s a business trip. Celebrate after.

Got to rematch the game at 4AM (thanks to having a 10 month old). Great game to rewatch without all the stress of live action.

Kramdi was great and fired up. He’s really looked good since they stopped having him have any kind of deep responsibility. Closed fast on short receptions and runs.

Holm obviously rose to the challenge. So many pass break ups.

Whole O was great. Oline kept the riders in check. Zach looks as good as he has since he’s been here. Brady doing Brady things.

Dline looked a little more aggressive and attacking the QB than we’ve seen lately

I assume you have a Bomber onesie for that 10 month old?

Congrats btw. 🙂

Both Milligan and Beverette were made to look like crap  in their playoff games. But regular season only. My guess it’s Milligan cuz hype. The hype is real there.

It’s amazing what good pass protection can do for good decision making. :)

Oline was in playoff form....key to Grey Cup too

Holm..had an average yr at best...but he was the perfect example of shut down DB tonight...and acted like a pro after a play every time...unlike the arsebags in green

One player ran off the field flipping the double bird to the fans… obviously I have no idea what was said to him… but it was reminder of the class of org the riders are

Should be voted before the playoffs started, no?

Tanner Schmekel with his best game as a pro. 3 tackles. Kyrie Wilson not noticeable. Kramdi and Holm were our best defensive players tho.

Schmekel indeed brought it. Blocking on the heavy set too. Guys got tons of heart and motor.
Kyrie wasn’t making flashy plays, but he was doing a great job gap cancelling. He and jones worked great together in the run game.

Kramdi and holm stepped up in a huge way. Love to see it.

1. MOS and the coaching staff. I for one have complained about the coaching this year. Full credit, we had a great gameplan on both sides.

2. Zach - Best playoff performance of his career.

3. Kenny- Best receiver in the league by far. He could and should be in the NFL.

HH- Kramdi, he’s a **** disturber in the best way. Maybe not the most talented, but the definition of a glue guy. One could also say the same about Feltmate on ST.

Just wanted to say kudos to the East side fans that noticed, and ripped on Armstead for choosing not to stand for the moment of silence or the national anthem.

I don't care who you play for that is incredibly disrespectful to the league, veterans and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

I think a player has the right to kneel for the anthem. Refusing to stand for a moment of silence in respect of Remembrance Day, Murray Sinclair and Ted Wyman is trash. Even if you don’t know who they are (sure he doesn’t) that’s not a situation to act out.

MCI-what is the ultimate goal for him? Blocking fullback and ST ace? A TE/FB hybrid?

i think this yr it's what he has been doing....getting his feet wet and earning his chops....moving forward tho he certainly will get touches....big strong athletic guy who runs a sub 4.50 forty.....it will happen

With his athleticism you for sure hope to hone him into a ball carrier. His floor is an h back super sub teams guy. His ceiling as a skill player is extremely high. We did a lot with Brady (And he did him self as well) with respect to developing as a rb.
He might never be Brady 2.0, but I think it’s reasonable for him to be a change of pace back putting up 400-500 rushing and a couple hundred receiving while doing all the other stuff. I think we could see him start to mix in as early as next year.

I think something like a Christophe Normand. Blocking/Utility with the skill to get involved in the short game.

I’m sorry, who is Armstead?

yes I need new material.

The ****** who got released in Ottawa despite actually putting up good numbers. American running backs like him are a dime in a dozen. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s done in the CFL,  pretty sure he led the league in misconduct penalties as well.
