I was in the middle of booking when my wife reminded me that our little girls birthday party is Sunday.

That said, it would have been 8 hours of driving to and from Halifax, and 18 hours of flying and connecting to get to Vancouver and home.

I'll be there in spirit

The West Final is my annual Grey Cup type "trip". We make a long weekend of it, fly home to Winnipeg, and party all weekend. Next weekend we'll have a small get together at the house as I stew silently about how Toronto is going to **** us over again into winning yet another GC...

You can think it, but don’t say it. We thought the same thing about Faj.

If the Argos were smart, they would practice a 2 qb set to run to keep our D off balance. Use Duke and Arbuckles strengths to complement one another.

The Dome gives me comfort. Zach played well last time in the dome no? We definitely won there before. Comes down to argos DL vs our OL and a strong game plan. We always tend to want to play Argo football with them. Let’s play Bombers ball this time. Sergio will prob be relied on more but hopefully Zach just wants it more. I think he does. Hopefully he’s mic’d up again.

Qb for the argos doesn't matter. This one will 100% come down to whether they can keep collaros safe in the pocket.

Directly related but to me it’s turnovers. That’s how we lost the last 2 cups and how Toronto just beat Montreal. If the offence plays clean the D should take care of business.

I'll be snug & warm watching the game at home cheering on the Bombers with my wife. We usually buy some hors douevres for the Grey Cup & just have food when we want during the game rather than have our usual dinner. We used to have Grey Cup parties but that seems to have fallen by the wayside since Covid. I have more than enough Jack Daniels, Canadian Club & Captain Morgan to keep me going all game. And I don't have to worry about drinking & driving,

Yeah i guess it's just a case of the easiest way to get collaros to be unsafe with the ball is pressure him and Toronto has killed the Bombers offense with pressure all season.

If the Oline plays the way they did last night, the Offense should be able to put up points.

(Insert my dear football wind gods prayer)

Careful with your prayers; the bc place dome stands in defiance of the wind and weather gods.

it is the scoreboard god who rules that place. She hungers ... for chipped footballs.
