Noeller Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 Toronto QB is irrelevant. They win or lose based on their defense destroying our offense. GCJenks, CodyT, bustamente and 2 others 5

Noeller Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 Nowhere did I say they were absolutely going to do that. Their DL has eaten our OLs lunch when we've played them, so I'm saying IF they do that again, that's going to be the difference in the game. The QB is really not important to their success. You guys actually think Sex Pest is a good QB? I sure don't. He's just a cog in the machine. If our OL finds a way to dictate the game, we absolutely win. wbbfan, Mr. Perfect and rebusrankin 3
wbbfan Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 I don’t think arbuckle can carry a team to a win against our D. He’s had two starts vs us, one bad game one good game. 300 yards 1 td no ints in the good game. But we beat them easily in that game. Grant is the major X factor against us. The Argos dl gave us all we could handle last time. Kelly wasn’t great, Kadeem had one big run. It’s gonna come down to how our ol plays vs their front. Folorian and ceresna whupped us last time. I would seriously consider starting Randolph at guard. Though last time we had the 6 ol with out both fbs. So maybe 7 ol and the 2 fbs makes the difference. Randolph though imo would put us in a great position. If we get Cole back on too that’d be huge. 5 minutes ago, Noeller said: Nowhere did I say they were absolutely going to do that. I think it comes down to the difference of 1 extra ol on the bench and 1 extra fb, or flipping ratio to have Randolph as well. We might be good enough on the front with Wallace and feltmate. Especially with better adjustments like we saw vs ssk. With Randolph an extra ol body and an extra fb I think we have the advantage. Noeller, rebusrankin and GCJenks 3
Brandon Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 I think it comes down to special teams and Zach not forcing throws. wbbfan 1

BigBlue Posted November 11 Author Report Posted November 11 I don't understand why but I believe this site greatly undervalues Collaros Yes Rourke Evans Kelly Brown & Fajardo all have great talent and potential but how many have been multi year consistent winners Every one of them is still a fledgling ,,, they won't all stay that way but right now every one is inconsistent Zach is a winner and he uses his experience to keep us overcoming all odds Don't discount his stats too much ,,, they are pretty good So did we make the right decision keeping Zach and cutting Brown? martypants100 and blue85gold 2

3rdand1.5 Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 Sask had a very good d-line, T.O has probably an even better D-line..........We kept Zach clean almost the entire West final......Again I believe that the winner will be which line..... our o-line or their d-line wants it more, plays more physical hits harder and wins more battles......IF we keep Zach clean like we did last week I expect similar results as last week. The x factor has to be Grant.........If not for him we would be playing Mtrl.....IMO between his return and his hail marry reception he was the difference in that game..... bluto Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 (edited) 15 hours ago, BigBlue said: The biggest thing on my mind is Toronto's QB strategy It will be 1) Arbuckle, and 2) basically the same Offence that we ran with Kelly*. Dukes can't make all of the throws that Kelly can so we won't change everything for him with less than 1 week till the game. Arbuckle can make them. If anything, he's kinda like Kelly Lite. *plus whatever wrinkles Coach Din has been saving all year, and there'll definitely be a few, that's just who Coach is. White Out Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 So, as I predicted, if Zach had a good game, we'd be okay. And boy, did he ever have a good game. I think a huge part of that was our offensive line was fantastic and did a great job, and I don't think anything changes for the Grey Cup. If our offensive line, if the trenches win the battle on both sides we're going to be a happy bunch. Go ahead and flame away @Noeller
rebusrankin Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 Is Arbuckle really Kelly lite? I don't think he has the mobility or the running ability of Kelly. Tracker 1
bustamente Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 Control the Argos D line, ZC and the O have to play like they did in the West Final, don't let Grant break one, limit big plays on D, celebrate a 3rd Grey Cup in 5 years coach17 and rebusrankin 1 1
Pete Posted November 11 Report Posted November 11 We want to press early, they have to be wondering what success they have without Kelly. Dont give them momentum. A big key is limit turnovers, thats killed us in the past Hang on to ball And lastly be aware when grant is on field. blue85gold and coach17 2

Or the arm strength... But again argos qb doesn't matter. Our offense needs to figure out how to deal with the argos defense. That's the game there. rebusrankin and Noeller 2
