Not sure if it was demotion or by choice, but he definitely wasn't great as a head red.
Nolby Posted November 15 Report Posted November 15 13 hours ago, Super Duper Negatron said: Osh would never...also 20 grand sounds like it could help some of those families a lot given inflation. These aren't NFL salaries, I don't even blame Lawler for chasing money in Edmonton.

bigg jay Posted November 15 Report Posted November 15 14 minutes ago, Nolby said: These aren't NFL salaries, I don't even blame Lawler for chasing money in Edmonton. Yep. It's easy to criticize a guy like Lawler who chased the money and regretted it but the flipside is a guy like Sheed. He was loyal to the club but never made up the money he left on the table after the 2021 season, never got another ring and is (was?) now a PR player. As much as I'd love to see all our top guys back every year, I don't fault anyone for taking the money while they can.
bluto Posted November 15 Report Posted November 15 Argos just can't afford to fall behind by too much, too early. it'd likely be their death knell and the start of a 3 hour party for you guys. If I'm O'Shea, I would go after Arbuckle and force him to beat me. I would throw knock-out blow deep routes to Lawler and attempt to make Toronto chase me on the scoreline. Force the Argos to go one dimensional with their offence. I just don't see how we'd be able to be in any sort of shootout and have a good chance at winning. Argos need to weather the storm. Argos need to grind out drives and eat up time of possession. Argos need to tilt the field with their punt/kick/return advantages. Defenders and specialists need to steal the ball and hopefully factor in the scoring. Unsettle Collaros, get after him and disrupt his timer. Wear them down and create a situation where our 3 running backs can see the game out for us in the late game. It's a lot. But we don't have our main man available so as I said before... the margin for error is mercilessly small. Zach Schnitzer, Tracker, Nolby and 1 other 3 1
Jpan85 Posted November 15 Report Posted November 15 It seems like when the Bombers' protection gets questioned; they go seven linemen a lot. BC game last year and last week, for example. They are pretty deadly in those sets, getting the ball down the field. bluto and Noeller 2
