Donèt know what the deal is, just throwing it out there that sometimes roster decisions are made based on info we will never have. So what looks dumb to us, could be a perfectly legit move. 4 hours ago, wbbfan said: I think this is very much our path to victory. The big advantage for Toronto last time was their Dl vs our ol. Run 6 ol with Wallace on a lot more and give zach time to pick apart this secondary. Funny thing is, I’d sub out keric mostly too Nah....Keric is the logical choice imo.

Booch Posted Saturday at 11:34 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:34 PM I'm pretty good with this one to be honest...weird decisions and all...that's just a result/reflection of our poor PR makeup..so we gotta go with what we have Our backend is solid as it gets and Taylor..age and inactivity considered is a huge insert...especially with BA...their knowledge and communication alone is key. Also was impressed with Wilson...if he doesn't get hurt...he's who you want in big games...he looked on point last week...my only concern there was I wasn't convinced he was injury free... Our oline I'm also not concerned with..they been gelling nice and that recent game vs t.o I see as an outlier...and being it was just weeks ago..we know what they gonna bring and do...I'm confident our group will make the adjustments...especially with the best oline coach in the league My only concern...punter guy...I refuse to use his name until he proves otherwise Doublezero and Piggy 1 1 1

He struggled playing nose after spending most of the year as a 3 tech then de before that. He should be developed as a 3 and a guy who can slide out for some reps each game. Not a de and not a nose. Tbh he may have hit a rookie wall as well, he struggled with cardio early in the year. Booch 1

Hey I like the guy, I just dont see leaving him off the roster as a huge loss given the Argos strengths and weaknesses. The Argos only hope to win is Carey having the game of his life, and Arbuckle being able to dink and dunk with success. Neither of those two things really play into the DT strengths that Adams brings. 55 minutes ago, Booch said: I'm pretty good with this one to be honest...weird decisions and all...that's just a result/reflection of our poor PR makeup..so we gotta go with what we have Our backend is solid as it gets and Taylor..age and inactivity considered is a huge insert...especially with BA...their knowledge and communication alone is key. Adam’s might be a bit better roster fit than Haba, but honestly it’s a toss up at best and Haba probably played his best game this year in the west final. Running adams on the edge in a 30 or two imp dt set 40 would give us the best chance to stop the run. But that just isn’t gonna happen. And our dl did do what they had to on all but the long run last week. So I get leaving him off. I think his struggles this year are some what understandable. He’s also real raw. Expect him back in camp next year and hopefully he takes a step forward. 35 minutes ago, 17to85 said: I suspect with Thomas and schmekel locked into one dt spot and woods the other adams fell in that wasteland or not really a de not really a nose tackle and they just didn't feel he fit the way they built the roster. Yeah safe to say I think with the nis. Pretty much. I think he’s a high floor player at a lot of positions but lacks the polish to sustain a high level of play at most spots. His versatility kinda became a weakness in terms of development this year. If Hubert can take a step forward next year and Lawson can stay healthy it’ll be a huge help. JohnnyAbonny 1

Really odd but a lot of our concerns this year at many positions were because we lost some real under the radar guys for long stretches. Just a crap start to the season injury wise, took us a while to polish up a few gems, and now we are back to the team we have grown accustomed to the past several years. I know early things looked bleak, and I just never feared we wouldnt be in this Grey Cup because, at least to me, you could really see the potential of a lot of the new guys and that we just needed to let them get their feet under them. Just a really spot on year of recruitment, drafting, and fly under the radar FA signings by our GM and scouts. Where are we this year if Wilson, Wheatfall, Ayers, Bonds etc. were not in camp. This may turn out to be one of those years we look back on and say wow....look at the guys we brought in 2024. Even the Nick Taylor signing to cap the year is looking really good, or at least a lot better than most would have thought. Edited Sunday at 12:45 AM by GCn20 Doublezero, wbbfan, bb1 and 2 others 5

I’m not sure if Lawson was healthy if we would’ve used Jake less or gone two ni dts with more 40 play, or maybe he’d played edge in the 30 with Lawson. But any way you cut it we’d a been a whole lot better. It’s funny we’ve suffered from injury losses at spots and also improved through injuries. Pookie wouldn’t have had the season he had if roadhouse was healthy but we would’ve been better clearly with him. Lber though we improved a lot because of injuries to kyrie and biggie. Turning injuries into development is top level stuff. If we did as well at wr and dl as we did at lber we would’ve laughed our way to the west final and grey cup. Yeah Taylor has looked real solid at S. And it was certainly a loaded camp in terms of talent. Walter’s Mac n co did a fantastic job this year. The big loss really was grant. Though you get not wanting to wager on an injured 30 year old kr. Still hope we bring him back in the off season.

Idk if it’s the right move when he makes 90k, but it’s certainly understandable and justifiable. Didn’t work out but had good logic behind it. I think in retrospect Jeffcoat is similar. If we had found some mauldin4th type pass rusher it wouldn’t be but we didn’t. Jj starting tomorrow would be huge. I think it bodes well for our future that we won’t again tie our self down to guys like biggie. Atleast not at steep deals and start them no matter what.
