Mulligan is a joke. So is maas getting coty.
Other wise it went down right which is more than I expected tbh.

Stoked for Brady to get what he should’ve last year.

Milligan better be buying Glen Suitor drinks all night because it really was him & TSN who pushed for the guy to win over Beverette. These guys should shut up & stay neutral.

We're finally getting our linebacking crew in order after Bighill was injured & says he's coming back next season. Guess that means that Osh will kick Tony Jones to the sidelines or practice roster in 2025.

sadly....based on how things are done...some young upside player...probably one who is already producing will have to take a seat

If they bring Bighill back … wow

Maybe as a player coach like the goat in his last “playing” year. No way should he see the field or an ar again though.

Better not cut some one for him.

Yeah...Beverrette had the better season and should have won.....there were several others who could have been up for that tho

The rest went as it should have...hard to believe BO wasn't unanimous for MOC and it was as close as it was for MOP but with this media not shocking....But rightfully earned this time and sadly he should be the reigning guy for both those awards going into 2025

Happy for Grant....deserved it before already....humble guy...just does his job...I hope we bring him back next yr and right that wrong

Mace as COY tho....just like always giving the Riders a non playing award to stroke their fragile minds dont get that pick....barely over .500 team...still some serious team character flaws apparent....7 game skid...and really if B.C didn't totally screw their season, and the Elks and CGY being so bad there would have been no home playoff date....possibly missed playoffs all together ....so that pick kind of a joke. Pretty easy to improve on whatthey did the last several yrs thre....they would have had to hire a total doofuss to be worse

well he wont be ready until mid-season at earliest...so if we do bring him back at a reduced salary..as age an injury will dictate that...he won't be on the books at all...so no harm there....but...big but if Osh inserts him over anyone else....mid season when guys are dialed in something is seriously wrong....may have to have Walter's just take that chance away from him and not give him the option

That awards show was a fitting sendoff to Ambrosias last year as commish - poorly planned and worse executed, from tsns failed attempts of humor ( the milt , blm skit was embarrassing) to presenters no one's heard of promoting own agendas it wasn't pretty.

The only saving grace was Brady winning two awards and Bighill winning his. By the way this isnt the thread to be putting Biggy down but should be to celebrate one of his great accomplishments

Hard-disagree there.

He has made me a believer.

When he gets closer to his target return date we'll start hearing about how hes "in the best shape of his life" and then it will be "he just needs to get a feel for it in practice and he is ready to go" and then "the injury isn't really responding how he would like so he's going to take a few more weeks to get ready" and then they'll hope no one remembers any of this as he is coaching the linebackers from the sidelines.

Of the 2 candidates, I would have gone with Maas as well.  Their final record wasn't as impressive as it should have been (downfall of locking up first place so early) but he's gotten far more out of that team, especially Fajardo, than I ever expected.

So much this. Coach who got productivity out of Faj is Coach Of All Time...

And in Regina, they want to erect a statue because Mace won a game after Labour Day. I don't think any coach who has their team go on a 7 game winless streak in the middle of an 18 game season should ever have been nominated but that's just me.

Might be the blue tinted glasses but MOS turning this team around, and leading them back to first place when pretty much everyone had written off a home playoff game, was more impressive (imo).

In the West, when I look at the course of the season, what O'Shea managed to achieve was infinitely more impressive than anything Mace did.

Things could have gone of the rails in a BIG WAY after the 2-6 start.  Most teams don't come back from that.  Not only did the Bombers come back from it, they went on an 8 game winning streak (including winning 9 of their last 10 games) which not only helped them secure first place in the West but also helped the team earn a birth in the Grey Cup - that's significant.   I'll take off my blue coloured glasses now and simply say that of the two nominees, the right guy won.

Congrats to Brady as well on the fantastic campaign and well deserved recognition.

I like to crap on Osh when the weird stuff and questionable moves occur more than anyone....that being said...Injuries...rookies....that start...the finish...securing the west again...that should totlly have been the West's nominee and the winner last night....credit where credit is due sticking to their guns

Having to win back to backs against bc and sask to ensure the west final shouldn't be overlooked. That's hard to do especially with the putrid start.

No kidding. To rally a 0-4 and then 2-6 team all the way back to a home playoff game is extremely impressive. Mace nominated over MOS is a joke.

The other nuance is beating the same green team three games in a row is no small feat.
