Also, just a standard **** you to the CFL officiating again. I like to make it at least a weekly thing.

The command centre can intervene freely, but no one knows when, but you may also need to challenge sometimes...but sometimes all the refs will just huddle and talk also to try and get it right...

Yup exactly and the call early in the game they intervened in was so close so they set that precedent but no they went radio silent for the rest of the game. It’s not the reason we lost but does impact the game.
No f’ing consistency. I think it’s a reasonable expectation.

It's a shame the 3 cup losses overshadow what has been the best 5 years of football this organization has delivered in decades.

Yeah it sucks losing the big one but I've had loads of fun/enjoyment watching this team play the last 5-6 years.

Changes obviously need to be made but I'll be damned if I'm gonna let this loss ruin what was a great come back season for another division title and the overwhelming success we've enjoyed over the last several years.

As someone old enough to remember the entire length of the drought (and no cup for Deiter) the last 5 years have been like a dream.

Hopefully the org will make the needed changes to put us over the hump next year and we take it all at home.

Somebody will take the fall for tonight it wont be O'Shea.

You’re right. And tbh I wouldn’t fire mos. I’d fire buck and tell zach to stay home this camp.
Mos hasn’t been good enough but we aren’t just gonna find markedly better.

I just don't know what they need to do. In 22 and 23 they took their opponents lightly and lost on the last second. In 24 they were supposedly all business and ready to get it done. And the offensive players were garbage. Mostly the receivers. Where do you go from here?

I spent all day feeling good about the game for some reason, but our offense's performance in past Grey Cups kept nagging at me. I kept pushing it down, but it wouldn't go away.

To not scheme a way to put this game on Brady's back is absolute waste and a complete shame. To put it all on a QB who has proved over and over again that he completely disintegrates in the big game is even worse.

Congrats to Toronto. They absolutely played well today. Dinwiddie maxed out that offense really well against our defense. Deserved to win it.

Tip of the cap to the home team. What we accomplished was still an accomplishment. A lot of fun football and great times. Still the best era to be a Bomber fan in my entire life.

Why is it insane? The two issues aren’t mutually exclusive. If we had lost three in a row without winning the two previous, this wouldn’t even be a discussion and let’s be honest, O’Shea 2022-2024 isn’t even remotely the same coach that he was prior.

The plays were there on O.  They weren't made.  I didn't like the D game plan.  More passive than it has been in awhile and I don't really know why.  Not talking about blitzes, but coverages.  We gave away the first 5-10 yards most downs to the pass if he wanted it.  Seems we worried about a big play rather than getting driven down the field, and we weren't aggressive on the ball.

Coaching includes the roster, and I can agree with some of that.

It's an absolute joke that we weren't bringing a guy in every week and just rolled with Whitehead as an example.  We had no playmakers on the DL, and really none in the LB crew if you count Kramdi as a DB.

There's lots of issues on the personnel side.  I don't think you simply fire the coach that built the whole thing and think that it changes the outcome or even gets you close to playing in these games.  We experienced that for 20 years after the board dismantled the Murphy regime.  It's an easy rush of seeing the coach fired for some in the fan base for sure.

The only thing I really don't like about MOS is that we're still playing like we're the underdogs.  We had one year in 2021 where we felt comfortable being the cock of the walk, otherwise on D it feels like we're scheming to mitigate risk and not make plays.

You created that just too rant.  It was not needed.

Are the ad hominems in this thread needed, or are they gonna get infracted too? I got infracted this year for saying wheel chair.

How do you rank Zachs play.
