How do you think it would look with Wallace and Dobson’s roles reversed? Dobson seems like he’d fit better as a 6th in run sets or max protect only. To me he looks like he has cement feet in pass pro.

One coaching irritation is that MOS is stubborn to a fault - very loyal to his players leading to bonehead roster decisions. Now 10 years in, I would also question his in-game management. You'd think after so long at the helm he wouldn't make so many mistakes. As for keeping the has-been players - It is no coincidence that MOS himself chose to continue to play as an older veteran player and did not retire after he was spent - hung on til the bitter end when he had to be cut. As for Walters - don't forget it was Walters who signed ZC to a 3-year $550/per deal when he really didn't have to. Could have easily gone 1+. It just meant there was nothing left for Janarion Grant and it could have been predicted that that would not turn out well - just as even the fans could see that ZC was done a year or more ago. good coaching/gameplanning would have used slide protections....roll outs and QB sprints....changing launch points.....motions....we didnt do any of that...we did the square peg in round hole technique

Today is what our O would have looked like all year if we let Brady walk. And kinda did for several games. We reverted back to 0 and 4 bombers today.

I don't think it would be much different.  Wallace seems pretty raw to me.  Like his aggression level, but he's pretty stiff.

I think it was borderline negligent to not stick with 3 import OL in the second half of this season.  Things got a bit jumbled on O when Wolitarsky got hurt, but with the amount of snaps we had on D with Canadians we could have easily rolled with Randolph and one of Dobson/Neufeld in.  Keep Chris-Ike in, rep him some at slot, Augustine if you need, bunch of fringe guys you could sign as an extra Canadian receiver too.  Then you get Dobson as the extra guy most likely, Eli probably stays on as the 7th since he can play center and Wallace would be in the lab.

obviously one of his great strengths is he is a culture guy… I just don’t know if he’s much of a strategy guy. Their strategy guy, Dinwiddie, out strategied whoever our strategy guys are. Again, I don’t think that is MOS‘s skill set… But it’s on him to find guys who compete with a guy like Dinwiddie.

Keep in mind too MOS has repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly said that he is 110% a Zach guy and has no plans to move on from him… So if you have issues with Zach then you have issues with MOS. Or you should. 

One thing the culture has lost...D and special teams used to be all about attacking the ball.  Turning over the ball.  Maybe specials still kind of is because we're one of the better teams at blocking punts, but how many games did we have 0 or 1 INT's/fumbles out of the D this year?  We're pretty consistently losing the turnover battle and margin to win is a lot less.  Seems like we got loaded up with star players and forgot how to win games, just leave it in their hands.

I don't disagree with you Mark, because I think that is an area where we had the edge and it was pretty clear... But when Winnipeg's game plan show that they weren't even going to test it, it's just kind of a chickens*** surrender and it gave us a lot of latitude in how we played against your offence.

I really don't think that there are going to be that many if any big changes to this team this offseason. Thomas, Lucky and the Aussie punter pinked slipped. Some others will leave some others will replace them but I expect essentially the same team back next year for one more kick at the cat.

Not that it would have mattered but apparently Osh said Zach couldn’t grip the ball but they put him back in. Between that, an obviously injured demski tonight and the bighill Schoen debacle last year, it’s time for coaches to be held accountable 

Only changes will be via Walters who is gonna be forced to release some aging vets cuz OSH won’t.

If Zach can't grip the ball why are you putting him back into the game, no trust in the backups is the obvious answer but would they have done any worse

Gameplan on O was perfect in first half.  Too many plays and drives killed by receiver mistakes.  Missed opportunities to extend drives and score points, so kept it close.  D was very passive and kept your O out there, no impactful turnovers which we needed to dominate the game.

3rd Q our O was barely on the field and that's where the game really turned.  Our punt returner handed you 7, when we got the play to get it back it was taken away on a ticky-tack call.

Our backup QB throws a TD pass that a rookie receiver makes an attempt at like he's looking into a full ******* eclipse trying to track it.

I said all week to anyone who listened that Toronto was going to win this, because they always do. This was never in doubt.

I still have full faith in The Trinity to turn this around with a fresh roster and spend every penny on a championship roster for a home GC.

Why tho. What have they done the last 3 years now. Lose when it matters. What makes anyone think that changes. No im serious. It’s more likely we run Thomas and bighill out there again next year.

I think that the key part of your post jbr, and I hesitate to point this out because I got static for this 2 years ago, was that at halftime RD showed his superiority in adjustments over OSH.
