This is all moot. Zach ain't going anywhere and I am not sure I'd advocate for it anyway
BBlink Posted Tuesday at 07:19 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 07:19 PM Zach has proven that he can put up a lot of numbers when the defenses aren't up to the task. Things tighten up in Grey Cup and he has thus far not been able to execute. He has always been the best when we can run a balanced attack. We can win Grey Cups with him but we need a much better supporting cast. And that could include a coaching change. Noeller 1

Dascow Posted Tuesday at 08:25 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 08:25 PM Food for thought Zach Collaros for the Bombers by the numbers (Playoff edition): Total Playoffs 178 / 265 = 67%, 2357 YDS (11 games / 214 avg.) 10 TD, 12 INT Total Grey Cup 86 / 131 = 66%, 1031 YDS (5 games / 206 avg.) 2 TD, 8 INT 5 out of 11 playoff games 0 TDs. 4 out of 5 Grey Cup games 0 TDs. Also keep in mind that Zach had 4 TDs in the most recent West Final vs Sask. (I compiled these numbers myself, so feel free to scrutinize them and pick out possible errors.) No, BLM wasn't dumped by the Stamps because of turnovers. Dickenson/Hufnagel thought his shoulder & arm issues cooked his career. At the time, he was having problems with accuracy & one hopping intermediate passes. Maier was actually playing well in relief so they made the move to make Jake the #1 guy.

Zach isn’t gonna get dumped for turn overs, it’s cus he’s done. Maybe atleast here, and he’s had 1 good play off game. BLM got dumped because he was done. Booch Posted Tuesday at 09:34 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 09:34 PM I dint think going into this yr that ZC is the guy to rely on now...the run of post season games alone is telling I as well would bring Lapo back..as a straight up coordinator...with just that to focus on...he'd be fine

Masoli, with his experience is able to help Baldwin adjust to play calling in the cfl as well. If Masoli doesn’t retire, it’s khari jones. After beau id have a varied short list with guy like Brennan Marion, and some other d1 young disciple or divergent types. The idea would be a newer to the cfl co with a vet qb experienced in many systems to support his adjustment. Failing that, it’d be give AC ast hc title, or June jones, and Marc trestman type picks. I’d rather develop the guy and start early in the off season, but failing a blue chip guy id go for a guy who’s been a hc and succeeded. 1 minute ago, Booch said: I dint think going into this yr that ZC is the guy to rely on now...the run of post season games alone is telling I as well would bring Lapo back..as a straight up coordinator...with just that to focus on...he'd be fine I think with Paul you’d need some one as his qb coach to temper him. With lapo you can’t have zach, or a running qb. You can’t have a qb who is happy to check down either. You need a qb who will push his system and read down field back.

Has to be an either/or situation, not a tandem.
