Most irksome moment of GC 2024- Why did they Stray from Brady?

Any guesses on which team they played in the bolded games? Our coaching staff, especially on offense, crapped the bed to a shocking degree.

Oh damn thanks for sharing for the not twitts like me! I really think we see some change this off season  more than we saw in the last off season and regular season.

I've alluded a few times here...much to the opposing opinion of several nut tuggers that don't believe all you see and hear from media...and lil sound bites here and there....all is not as what people like to portray....and this notion  guys love Osh and will walk on fire thru a wall and into a septic tank for him is wayyyyy over played....**** gets old and worn out and doesnt work anymore....and guys are not happy with a lot of stuff....decisions....play calling....roster....usage....but they are pro's and will never say it to the media......I'm not media....I not trying to say I am better than anyone...but I have played....train with these guys....played with some ...moreso on coaching fronts now....and I get confidential trust being a brother....and not/never disclosing names on a forum...of which many DO peruse here.....so if I did say so and so said this....he said that...I'd have some explaining to do....People like to mock me...have thier say and that I don't know ****....think I better than Osh...whatever.....but I havnt been far off the mark at all...and called a lot of this crap before it happened...membership has it's privledge

NO NO NO...ITS all on the players tho!!!...Bullshit to the highest degree....I guess based on the points every other team put out against them they must have exponentially better players right?....or....our coaches put out poor choices....and then failed them with poor scheme....based on the last 3 yrs....i go with the coaching and scheme....rosters

With zero insider knowledge I’m seeing the classic red flags of turmoil. I think it’s offensive and with buck/zach mainly. I could see the dl being un happy too, but I think that will sort out. 
 

I think the loss of yoshi, and sheed in the off season hurt leadership and the locker room more than any of us could know.  Those were our two biggest glue guys. In the past we lost guys like kongbo who set a very high work ethic and held every one around him to that standard.

I know 100 percent...there was some anger and frustration on the defensive side.....and have I not been waving that flag 2 yrs running now?

And like I said in an other post....we lost guys like u mentioned....and Gray..Desjarlais....Darvin...Couture...totally forgot about Kongbo and even only being a rookie brought it...24/7 and lead by example....when he was re-habbibg his knee that rookie yr and the way he worked at practice....gym....it even inspired the vets to go harder....we havn't really replaced any of that....

To a certain extent, would you call it complacency by Osh & co? They’ve seen it all work out before so they think that’ll just happen again.

I'd call it a bit of that....a lot of it is stubborn arrogance....and also resting on old success and believing you dont have to change.....hoping it's not a case of not knowing how to change....but man...3 yrs running now....makes one wonder

I also believe he needs to put his Canadiana bias on the back burner....find and position your best 6 Nationals and the one Nationalized American at whatever position it is....and then fill the roster around that...with your best...not your fav's...or you old vets.....extra Canadians cause thats what he does....but that leads back to his stubborn arrogance....so....is anything really gonna change under him?

I think winning made mos ultra conservative, and that winning 2 in a row took away the hunger to win. The old go 1-0 this week became less about being present and focused on the task at hand, and more about wins covering up the stink of coasting/bad execution/ bad game plans. 
I think the mood is more not wanting to lose than wanting to win. Wanting to enjoy prep rather than being tireless. 
 They built it, they achieved the goal twice. It feels like they are very complacent to maintain it rather than tear it up and rework it every year to make it better. You have to kill good to become great. And when you stop improving you quickly get worse in sports. There is no static. It’s growth or death. 
 

I also don’t think that is equal across the mafia. No chance does wade have that. Or Jy imo. Walter’s has some, mos has a lot, buck has nothing else.

I don't see massive changes. When you have Mr Blue Bomber, Bob Irving himself, saying today on X that signing Jake Thomas is a priority for the team, just how much change will there be??? Not a lot. I don't see much changing.

Jake Dolegala was brought in 2024-09-16, which gave Buck aprox. 60 days to get him up to speed, just in case. What happened to "prepare every day, like you're going to play"?

Or...they all starters...they in building cause they can help us win....

Dolegala by all accounts in practice too looked better...basically because he has been in league 2 yrs...and started...so he recognizes things quicker right now...so why was he not brought in for zZC?

Was this another case of guy here longer...so he gets it by default?

I liked what I saw from Wilson for potential. I wonder if dole went in and stayed in though, might we have won the game? Can’t know now, but he sure wouldn’t have done worse.

It doesn't make any sense, he's not the greatest but he can throw the ball fairly well, or better yet hand-off!

I would have rolled the dice and kept with Wilson and sat ZC after he came back to the sideline. I see the upside of putting JD in but Wilson was more involved in the game by scoring a TD earlier in the game.

But this is why I'm probably not the coach. 🙂

I think Buck lands in BC, if the Campbell rumours are true. A bit of smoke there for certain.

JY is clearly an intelligent DC, but only has access to what MOS gives him, I can’t imagine JY is in favour of starting Kyrie Wilson over Cole. Could also see JY being the guy that wants to get Adams on the roster.

Running his system...I cant see JY wanting Thomas and Schmeck in heavy rotation over Woods.,,.Adams and Fox either.....Was Adams in the dog house for the unsportsmanlike he took....which was a pretty ticky tacky call at that...as he rarely saw the field after....or the roster?

And even tho I now somewhat on the Kramdi wagon....(as long as they scheme things to keep him in minimal chances in coverage or open field plays) for the fact it allows us to go no National on the dline....if we choose, and he is pretty lethal in the box...but he took a way worse penalty.....but as a fav....suffered no such fate....

Osh is just so rigid in his thinking. He can't see the big picture. In his mind with Dolegala being number 3 so he won't him play him before Wilson. I wasn't disappointed he didn't play Dolegala. I was just resigned to it.

I'm gone to the numbers to process my grief. Looking at the play by play, Brady had: 2 touches in Q1, 4 touches in Q2, 3 touches in Q3, and 4 touches and 1 drop in Q4. That's absolute malpractice by Buck. The three most egregious times to me are: 1) When we drove to the 8 yard line in the second quarter and tried two unsuccessful passes and kicked the FG. 2) Wilson's 4 plays when Zach was injured. 3) The series Zach returned. 

We didn't throw a pass to Brady until Wilson's first play. So he and Zach weren't connecting on check downs either for whatever reason.

We didn't have consecutive completions until the 4th quarter. Ugly. 

My overly simplified post mordem of our offensive offense is: We should have run more. We should have passed better (play calling and execution).
