I can think of several ways......regarding player signings....

Ohhhh Ic....I was thinking more of get it done = GC win in 25.

That's what I want done by any means necessary. Mortgage that future, add another down, sell the team to the highest bidder....as long as they win the GC I'd be fine lol

It's interesting (but not unexpected) that this list is QB heavy, compared to past neg list releases.  Some of these guys have been on the radar for a while and were listed on the fall list (Artopoeus) or on the 2023 lists (Book, Gronkowski).

I find it interesting to look back at previous years to see how guys have turned out - last year we had Ontaria & Ayers listed (amongst others who did not make the same impact like Kody Case).  I wonder who it will be from this year, if anyone, that makes an impact for us in 2025.

Blow the wad, screw the SMS, do what it takes. Keep our good players, be active in FA this year, bring in blue chip recruits. This is our all in year.

In his year end review Walters indicated they don't plan to spend anymore than they usually do, steady as she goes.

Walters didn't publicly say that they'd violate league rules. Well, personally I am stunned...

He also said they haven't discussed it but that MOS & Wade would probably be fine with going over.

“(President and CEO) Wade (Miller) and (head coach) Mike (O’Shea) are very supportive — they would probably be all for it (if we decided to go over the salary cap next year), but for now, we haven’t talked about that,” said Walters on Tuesday.

I think it would make things interesting if the team or teams which are over the cap would be obliged to send an equal amount to any teams under the cap.

He also said and I'm summarizing here... why would this year be any different? They're trying to win every season.

They have in the past

The amount they've gone over in the past is not what some people are getting worked up over, they're expecting Walters to abandon all fiscal responsibility and pull a Brendan Tamon extravaganza out of his hat.
