Stickem Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 So how long into the new year do we wait for the call on the new OC.....Ranks are getting thin out there as far as CFL availabilities....Would be nice to get an inkling about the direction we're heading....Jackson looks to be the best option........the wheels are slowly turning when it comes to this hire, but I guess it's more important to get it right Piggy 1 and rebusrankin 2

OC, player personnel dept, re-signings. Feels pretty directionless. Out of that huge FA list, Bryant signed (who wasn’t realistically going anywhere else) Tony Jones, Sergio and a couple of jobbers. rebusrankin Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 The fact that we haven't hired an OC coupled with the lack of signing news is concerning. On the plus side, they haven't brought back Jake or Biggie.

Bombers are all in and bring back two important pieces for another run at the Cup.

Those contracts wouldn’t need to have been announced by the club, but they would have needed to have been filed with the league before Jan 1 and nothing was wbbfan 1

Mos and Walters even talked about how it was just the two of them doing the end season surf because of un certainty up front. You know the role assistant gms and COs play in free agency right? Or franchise stability with established vets. It’s been discussed previously in years where teams have failed to lock in their front office and staff and those off seasons for other teams have been catastrophic. He said they were going to check down the penny how much they had & use it on a signing bonus for somebody (singular). He was asked about next years roster and he said they need to know who the OC will be before they can really start looking at that.
