BomberBall. Posted Thursday at 11:39 PM Report Posted Thursday at 11:39 PM Yeah, Elliott may have had a chance if the team around him wasn’t a total crap show. Pretty sure he threw for over 400 yards one game…. Those kind of numbers generally aren’t flukes. He seemed like a gamer. Noeller 1

He absolutely went off that game.

Poor Elliot got left high and dry by the team around him. Sadly the oline had him coming under fire far too often. He still managed to generate some hysteria among the fans. Noeller 1
JuranBoldenRules Posted Friday at 01:56 AM Report Posted Friday at 01:56 AM All in Hamilton is paying Wolitarsky about $30,000 more than the Bombers had him signed for. Seems like a little more patience in this situation could have yielded something in trade, even an extra draft pick. wbbfan and Noeller 1 1
Brandon Posted Friday at 02:30 AM Report Posted Friday at 02:30 AM Elliott had 5 TD passes and like 15 interceptions with his time with us... he wasn't good. He just looked "decent" because Pierce was a shell of himself and our other back ups were terrible. Brink played scared , Boltus had 3 ints and multiple fumbles while connecting on only 8 completions with us, and Goltz was in a commercial. Noeller 1
johnzo Posted Friday at 02:32 AM Report Posted Friday at 02:32 AM Elliott seemed like one of those guys who was a real gunslinger but was just about 5% less awesome than he needed to be. Definitely had some good games, though -- had high hopes he would be the guy to turn the Bombers around.

I also love the diversifying of our offensive coaching staff from guys who orbited around lapo to all kinds of experience outside our norm. (Including Jackson in that as well) Billy Jean is an interesting one. Very well regarded football mind. Feel like he’s a strong Xs and Os guy who is a bit more raw in coaching pro players and positions in general. I’m sure he’s gonna be like James Stanley for the O. He’s gonna be an assistant to the offensive coaches, where as Jackson will be a more experience guy who can support hogan in his transition to full time play caller. We’ve done a great job of bringing in quality, experienced guys front office to coaching staff. Especially when giving younger guys a chance to move up, by surrounding them with highly experienced guys who can help them develop. If those guys can gel with the mafia we should see a lot of fresh looks and adjustments. Half our front office is new, with the 3 pp directors/ scouts, while Costello is the only guy on offence who is holding over at his position. 4 minutes ago, WinnipegGordo said: A real interesting take out of that “B.C. is currently slated to pick third overall in this year’s draft but is expected to forfeit that selection due to salary cap violations.” if thats the case im alll for it. rebusrankin Posted Friday at 11:10 PM Report Posted Friday at 11:10 PM Is there a report somewhere showing BC is going to lose their first? I know they really flaunted it but don't recall a published report. So we pick 8, 17 and 20? Not bad. wpgallday1960, Bigblue204 and M.O.A.B. 3

Last I heard it was up in the air with Randy stepping down. Yeah honestly for us that’s a great position. we killed it with upper middle picks last year and in the past. With bc and edm losing their picks I wonder if they look to move back up and trade with us. I’d be in favour of flipping 6 for an established ni like we did with Lawson. That said, if we could get horth or Pyle at any pick I’d be very happy. 3 minutes ago, Mike said: We signed safety Rashaan Gaulden who is like 47 years old and was a third round NFL draft pick in 2003 https://www.nfl.com/prospects/rashaan-gaulden/32004741-5530-2029-3b23-6366532d8402 if he’s old af I’m scared to find out what I am. johnzo Posted yesterday at 01:16 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:16 AM Nice to see Bolduc in the league. He was part of the terrible final Rough Riders team of 1996 and played a bunch of snaps at RB when the Roughies couldn't afford injury replacements. From the outside, looked like a good team dude. wbbfan 1
