I’m more concerned with his lack of playing any football in like 4 years

That's fair. I'm not surprised when NFL talents hold out for that last NFL call that never comes before finally accepting it and heading North. Sites list him at 6'0 or 6'1, 180-200lbs, plays teams, I'm happy to take a look. I do wonder what happened in CGY, though.

Looks like Gaulden is there to potentially provide another American option for safety. I think there will be some change in how the ratio is used but that will be determined in training camp with plenty of options and flexibility.

Is Billy Jean the one who was not Michael Jackson's lover?

It's OK- we could put wheels n his walker.

I believe she just thought he was the one...so I hear lol

Found this interesting:

Some in CFL circles believe the team will lose not only its first-round pick but also its second-round pick, meaning the violation will be over $300,000, though this remains unconfirmed.

All that overpaying only to have Campbell sabotage it all wrecking the room and dividing his team with the Rourke nonesense...if only he would have said Rourke is number 2 while he gets readjusted and is there if Vaj can't play or really shats the bed

I mean I totally believe they went over by 300k+ that’d be a huge blow for the lions to lose both picks.

does the league have some one who is the acting commissioner? Haven’t heard any updates on the role being filled in a while.

They did get  calgarys 2nd rnd pick which will be the ninth overall and the bonus 2nd rnd pick so its largely offset

One of the biggest coaching blunders in recent memory.

All in Hamilton is paying Wolitarsky about $30,000 more than the Bombers had him signed for.

Seems like a little more patience in this situation could have yielded something in trade, even an extra draft pick.

Don't criticize The Trinity. It'll upset Noeller. ;)

Wouldn't surprise me if Randy sticks around for another year.

I always felt Campbell isn't as good as his reputation claimed. Certainly nowhere close to his father. What he did in BC last year cutting VAJ at the knees was mind blowing.

If the league really wanted to get sticky about this, they could force the Lions to give them both back. That would deter teams from offsetting like you described.

8 years strong with 1 professional team.

To the Blue Bombers that gave me a chance to play ball again I’m grateful and hopefully every day of my 8 years, I showed how grateful I was/am for that opportunity. My teammates/fans over that period of time made it easy to go to put it on the line everyday.

I can’t thank the fans enough that accepted me into your home of Winnipeg, Manitoba. You’ve seen me start my career as a 23-year-old young adult. Always stood behind me and watched me grow into the football player y’all loved to cheer for. Winnipeg only shines because you all put the lights in and on the stadium. I will miss the love I’ve felt over the years. #1 fanbase in the CFL without a doubt.

And to my teammates, ya’ll already know what it is. Too many memories were given to me that I will carry for the rest of my life. Can’t replace that. “Love y’all boys.”

Alexander to safety was one of the moves that led to the Cup win. Dude had some great years for us.

An absolute top tier S. Great over all as a db, but man he did it all back then at S. Solidified our coverage, put the fear into opposition WRs, stopped the run and made all the plays.

3DN misinterpreted his goodbye to the Bombers as him announcing his retirement. His agent clarified he's still looking to play next season.

"He took to social media on Sunday to thank the team for their time together, which some outlets, including this one, interpreted as a retirement message. Instead, Alexander’s agent reached out to 3DownNation to explain that his client isn’t retiring and is still actively looking for his next playing opportunity."

Love that guy... Wish he could have gone out on top. He gave everything for us. Huge thank you for everything he did to end that GC drought and give us these golden years.

Yeah was hoping he'd go the Mike Miller route and stick around as a coach but if he still has the itch to play then I guess it wasn't meant to be.
