Jake should take a hint from BA and retire. Best result possible.

Jake has a great gig here. Go out on the field, start, do nothing, suck, get paid for it, take away playing time from other players & then next game, repeat.

As long as the younger kid doesn't get hurt again this year, I really think Jake will go back to the limited reps. He only played so much last year because the kid got hurt and they were absolutely committed to a NI DT for whatever reason.

what about the yr before?...and why not give reps to a young guy with upside to develop....with future if reps should be limited...or give those reps last yr to one of Woods..Fox..Adama when a National on the dline wasnt required for ratio>,,,,Osh just thinks Jake is the cats vaginey for what ever reason and he is wrong about it...plain and simple....If Jake was an import...he's never get a sniff....

Lawson yeah, as long as he’s 100% he should get the most reps. I just hope Thomas doesn’t eat up woods snaps.

which happened way too much last yr.....wayyyy too much

Lawson at half of what he was gives more than Thomas....fact of the matter.....if we start Krma again...and run 6 on offence....we dont require a constant Natuional on the dline anyway....especially like last yr when we had 2 guys on roster who were prob 2 worst nationals in the league....and got way too many reps

If your gonna waste reps on guts, use it on young guys...Like Samson or any other guy you could have drafted...traded for or picked up off the scrap heap and see if they develop into a productive guy or a guy with upside

Heck...we scrap heaped with Kolo who absolutely nobody wanted for 2 yrs ...is undersized....has no exceptional skill to off-set it and just keeps playing and playing....I guess if you are an average at best Canadian who came from a Canadian school and are not highly touted....you have currency with Oshea

just watch this yr again....you will see these options....him being washed out and or moved to a spot the oline wants....tippy toe jogging up to the play well after it's over and glad handing with who made the play....the play flying past him as he doesn't have the athleticism or aerobic capacity to get there" and rep after rep of him gasping for life as he gets to the line and has to use his free hand to prop up his head on his facemask in 3 poinbt stance so as not to topple over...and then being late off the snap....

He's in deep hibernation, can't recall another off-season he's been so silent, didn't even wake up for the CJOB Winter Special.

They have sellout crowds now. No need to keep grinding for fans. Stay right here cuz these are the Good Old Days. Enjoy them while we still can.

Yep. Giving young nis a shot would really help vs long in the tooth guy we know can’t get it done. Once all the old guys retire maybe it’ll happen lol.

first mocked draft

us taking rourke would be the most shocking bomber news in ages. Have we ever drafted a qb?

I think if we take a QB it’s the u of m kid If he’s eligible and it’s late round stuff. No way do we take rourke. The logic he uses is we have an extra pick. So does BC and they have his brother. OL WR LB DB.  These are the areas we tend to concentrate on.

Idk we don’t have a strong history of drafting u of m kids in the top of the draft. Only gray comes to mind in the mafia era.

Tbf, there haven't really been a ton of Bisons go at the top of the draft.  Demski is the only one I can think of that we passed on (took Chungh at #2 that year).  Maybe Zach Williams but he was the last pick of the 3rd round so not a late pick but not a super early one either.

There are 5 Bisons currently playing in the league (not including guys like Gassama who have yet to crack a roster) and we now have 3 of them so we do like having them here.

I don’t expect qb in the first prob 4 but more realistically maybe 5 rounds for us if at all.

It’s true the pipe line has not been strong.

Where did the OL center prospects go. Believe was 2. Neither taken there it seems. Not good enough or nfl bound potentially?

It’s not a strong ol class but decently deep imo. The 2nd and 3rd tier guys will be better than the usual “well you can’t teach size, and say on a d1 practice squad his whole career” guys. I think we will see more career usports guys with good intangibles.
Horth and Pyle will likely depend on strong 1on1s to move up. I really hope we take one of them. We’ve succeeded with guys built like Pyle in the past and in a hurry. Horth the short arms will really put some teams off but I love that nasty undersized type at C.

It’s high floor vs high upside imo. Horth should easily be a strong 6th ol for a team like us. Pyle could be an impact starter at C in year 2. Mobility in the drills is gonna be what speaks volumes. If we took one of those two and Fortin in the first we’d be in very nice shape.
