dude hasn’t been hurt in 7 seasons either and last year was a career year with 24 tackles and 2 sacks. Do they think there’s upside still. ? Out their damn minds. How much $$$ did Thomas get? That’s an important factor here. 

He’s not just a member of the old boys club. He’s the president too.

200 for WJ....If we land a Ceresna...or similar..thats another 200k at least and if we want a guy like Mcmanus well then thats basically1 million tied into 6 guys...Basically 1/5th of your sms to just field half your defensive starters

That being said that may be a good thing as it you would think eliminate Thomas...Bighill....BA who will be 6 figure guys....and even tho ScHmeck is on rookie deal....it is more than an entry level import at his position...We also have to fit Lawson's salary in there this yr too....so hopefully the decision to move on is Walters only choice if he gonna upgrade

Week 1 and week 6 bye. This league is just pathetic. How does that make any sense.

I hate how the CFL does its schedule. Like 9 teams In the league, 3 bye weeks, 18 regular season games, i know it can’t be perfect but every team should be able to get a bye every 6-9weeks. We play 11 games in a row between our second and last bye. Absolutely idiotic.

Schedule is garbage. We play the Riders five times. Two byes in six weeks. We’re done with a divisional rival by week 3. Too many back to backs. It’s like they tried to make it suck.

They also play at home on July 18th which is the 1st day of the Great Outdoors Comedy Fest.

If Thomas is making a low salary I’m fine with it. Hopefully Lawson is back to full health and plays most of the snaps.

Must be an edict from the league. Looks like everyone has a single pairing for preseason, other than BC-EDM-CAL who have a little bit of a round robin going.

I can't imagine an outdoor comedy festival in its 2nd year in the city that had an 8000 attendance across multiple days last year was on the schedule makers radar. Are we going to keep Sea Bears home game dates open as well?

I'm going through the other teams schedules and so far I've found we have by far the worst schedule in the West.  Aside from the byes being the shits, we are the only western team that has 2 short weeks (5 days between games in June & August).  FTR, Technically Calgary does too but their 1st short week is their 2nd pre-season game where most players are only playing a handful of snaps - they have one 5 day week in regular season.   The Riders have no 5 day short weeks at all and easily have the most balanced schedule I've seen.

Going to look at the East schedules later on and see what those look like.

It's greater than zero so it's too high a salary for Jake.

Then first day of training camp a mystery assailant hammers Thomas in thr knee cap with a tire iron and he's on the IR all year. Everyone is happy.
