I’m very okay with Lofton, I like the continuity with the edges. Hardrick was meh and a repurposed castoff until he wasn’t too.

how long do you give Lofton? Hardrick was instantly better when he slid out to tackle.
Lofton is going into his 3rd year as a starter. He was still badly green for the first half of last year. While he got better, he hasn’t flashed being more than a replacement level starting tackle in the cfl. I think Lofton is better than average at G though.

Id like to see Lofton slide inside (assuming Dobson leaves) and Randolph go in at RT. Otherwise, if Wallace takes the step forward he flashed last year, him in place of Dobson would be good.
We need a few more imp T guys that can push Randolph though.
Couture back would be fantastic. But I’m even less hopeful that happens. But Bryant neuf couture Lofton randolph with Wallace/eli as back ups would be good.

Yeah that would be a solid 7 guys

I'd like us to even bring in an import center for a look...another Ibisi clone would be perfect fit

We need to find another under sized athletic nasty piece of work C to develop

I LOVE that signing. Great piece to have.

Instant fix to our kr position, with a guy in Dillon who can back up/ be the 2nd returner.
I love it even more because he’s a bonafide offensive weapon. As a rb and as a pass catcher.
I love his style. Short but stocky back who is tough as nails, runs north south, and doesn’t let tacklers square up. Creates a lot of bounce off tackler plays and minimizes wear. He’s not quick like blink (no one is) but he’s a great balance of break away speed and acceleration. Very smooth runner who makes it look easy.

Now, we have to use him right. We’ve not done a good job of using dis/multiple backs in ages. We’ve got to fix that but I love what this builds towards. Also reduces the need for the last imp wr to be top notch.

I feel like the longer we wait the more likely it is we go with a familiar guy like lapo. Who has effectively ran a 2 back offence with out starving his rb1, and has familiarity with zach.

Sounds like we’re in on Reggie Stubblefield with Hamilton, Calgary and Edmonton

That’s an odd one. Maybe Kramdi can play some s? Would we be trying to move stubblefield to corner or double shift holm to corner and him to half?

Holm to safety? Someone in there could make the move. Hopefully not Kramdi, I’d be apprehensive about that one but maybe Stubblefield or Holm could work there.

After signing Logan I'm fully expecting Lawler to be gone. It really looks like we're going in another direction with our offense. And quite frankly - I'm pretty excited.

Bombers can still match any offers Kenny will get  2 days before FA. But I would think he's good as gone. I would think Buck Pierce would want him in BC.

I’d prefer that. But I mean how many spots can we drop ni for imp?

good chance that's why they also released Hatcher today before his bonus was due

I'm sure I'll get crapped on for this but I feel like Kenny makes a lot of great catches but doesn't get open very well. Or maybe Zach just always throws his way whether he is covered or not...I don't know.

We def force throws to him. That’s zach, but he’s also the best 50/50 guy in the league.
He’s a great route runner but he’s not a monster athlete. He requires well timed and placed passes and throwing him open. As do most of our WRs tbh. That’s our type. Big and marginal speed.

I would be more or less fine with losing Lawler if I knew that Schoen was going to be ready to start the year. Dillon Mitchell, Nic Demski, Keric Wheatfall,....... ?? Is a bit concerning to start the year.
