Makes sense to have Fajardo who can atleast run with ford. Bet faj takes over before ldc. Montreal has made some shrewd moves at QB. wbbfan, rebusrankin, Piggy 1 and 2 others 5

3rdand1.5 Posted December 18 Report Posted December 18 So...what's the over under on Fajardo becoming the starter in Edm. My guess is by week 7........ wbbfan 1
wbbfan Posted December 18 Report Posted December 18 1 hour ago, GCn20 said: Highly likely he will be released. Surest bet of the off season imo who might be in the market? Bc, ssk, then maybe us, Hamilton or Ottawa depending on what other pending back up QBs and these teams do. You’ve got Evan’s, crum, Masoli, strevy, and shiltz. For qb2 roles with, bc, ssk, us, ham and ott. Maybe Calgary jumps up too. Unelss Masoli retires, one of those guys or maier will have to be a qb3 or less. this is also all assuming Toronto keeps arbuckle as qb2. but it looks like for the first time in a long time we are going to see league wide parity with respect to qb depth. 47 minutes ago, 3rdand1.5 said: So...what's the over under on Fajardo becoming the starter in Edm. GCn20 Posted December 18 Report Posted December 18 Fajardo is getting into the best case scenario for himself really. One could argue the Riders might be, because Trevor Harris is almost certainly not going to last the season at age 40, but playing behind an extremely over rated NAT is probably the surest bet. wbbfan 1
Fatty Liver Posted December 18 Report Posted December 18 Not sure if Nik Lewis was fired or retired, but he's leaving coaching for now. As some of you have seen that I am not a part of the Calgary Stampeders coaching staff. I chose to step away due to the launching of my own company and I couldn't make the time commitment to continue coaching. It wouldn't have been fair to the coaches, players or fans if I couldn't fully commit to the process. Coaching at the Pro level is very demanding on time. As fans you see wins and losses, but as a coach your a part of the whole process and it is countless hours that go into the preparation to have a chance to win. As a competitor, I want to win every time we take the field. I wanted to be part of the solution going forward to get Calgary back to the best in the west. It was a very difficult decision to make. I want to thank Dave and Huff for bringing me back to Calgary the last two seasons to coach. It was a dream opportunity to wear the horse again. I want to thank Pat Delmonico on creating a great work environment, I know he will right the ship and get the job done. I want to thank my WR core for the commitment they made to come to work everyday, no matter the circumstances. They took on roles that wasn't easy but they found success. We were able to make countless highlight plays and catches. It was great to see them improve on a daily basis. Lastly Calgary as you know Calgary is my second home and I'm looking forward to moving back to the city soon. Lots of great things are happening and I can't wait to share it with you all. As for the CFL and the Calgary Stampeders, I will always represent you the only way I know how. To the Nik Lewis Nation let's keep the party going. Thank You Calgary, Blessings and Love All reactions: 397397

wbbfan Posted December 18 Report Posted December 18 Wish nik well in his new endeavour. Was a ton of fun to watch play.
Goalie Posted December 18 Report Posted December 18 (edited) I don’t think we go after a QB. We got Zach Jake and Wilson with prob Streveler. Prob see Grainger or a neg list guy brought in. More important spots to spend $$$ on. would love to see us grab a FA cdn oline like the Winnipeg kid out of Calgary and some DTs. But first sign our own guys like lawler Willy Schoen and 1 of Dobson or Neufeld. Edited December 19 by Goalie wbbfan, rebusrankin and Bigblue204 3

Goalie Posted December 19 Report Posted December 19 (edited) Faj will probably restructure his deal. There’s no starting spots available and honestly Edmonton behind an inexperienced Canadian is his best bet to play. I will say if I was Winnipeg and I’m looking for a QB, they prob aren’t but if they are, MBT.., he’s kind of the same mold as Zach. Edited December 19 by Goalie wbbfan 1

We'll start the season similar to how we ended the last... Zach, Wilson, and then likely Grainger.... Until Strev is ready to come back. I don't think Dolegala comes back. They believe enough in Wilson to let him be a full time QB2.
