Imo their scoops break down like this

Starter, Woli, Dobson, lawler,

DI/Teams/rotational-fringe starter

Cole, Garbutt, Fox

End roster Canadian but useful player

Hubert

I don't see any TCF. Maybe fox, and garbutt don't make the AR, but they are excellent bodies to have on their team. I'd love to still have a bunch of those guys.

Agreed. I'd have invited them all back to camp for sure, but outside Lawler and Dobson you should be able to replace everyone.

Change was needed with this group,  we'll were getting changes now.

Yeah, I’m not torn up about anyone other than maybe Lawler leaving. I’ll feel okay about that one if Wilson comes back or if we find another camp star.

Lawler is going to have to be replaced by a couple guys. Could make for a deeper group, who knows. Hopefully it forces collaros to not rely on Lawler to bail his ass out all thr time.

I do really like Mitchell, to be honest. I think if we put him at X, he’s going to be a problem.

The guys in bold are TCF,   those guys showed very little last year.

Regarding Kenny....he's already gone down the ' it was great playing in the Peg' goodbye...Now that doesn't mean he could/would change his mind BUT considering the late bull$hit game the league has played with the sms, he just might...He's one guy I didn't want to see playing elsewhere....I hope we contact him and see where he stands

I agree most of those guys should be replaceable.

I like Mitchell too, but i'm more excited about White. He could be a huge deep ball threat if he's able to get back into form.

One thing is for damn sure, it's nice to actually have some speed in the wr core.

If they were TCF, they wouldn't have been signed during this period. Cole is a top Sts guy worthy of a DI in that role alone. Hubert is an excellent end AR Canadian who can contribute on a bunch of teams units and rotate actively on the defense, both inside and out. Especially on running downs. Garbutt is a fringe starter in the CFL who picked it up really well late. TCF don't start in the previous GC. Fox has played in the league on 2 teams in 3 years. He struggled with injuries, but that isn't TCF. That is an incredibly talented guy who hasn't been able to translate yet.

Training Camp Fodder, as in cannon fodder, is just a body for your actual players to hit. When a guy has significant upside, that isn't TCF. Thats a developmental guy. Everyone on that list has the upside to start in the CFL. At worst, they are low risk high reward guys.

I like who we have brought in so far as possible Kenny replacements. It will definitely have to be by committee, no doubt about it. White, Sterns, and Mitchell give us some decent receiving options. Clercius over Woli is a hard move to make, but one that should pay dividends maybe as early as this year. Would be nice to get Wilson back sooner than later if Lawler really is gone.

I see White as a 4th option 700-800 yard guy who might lose games to Sterns. Mitchell had star potential before bad qbs helped derail him. IMO he has a higher ceiling than White.

If he clicks with zach, watch out. If not, this might be the final and short note on his wiki. I am hopeful they will click though.

Lawler was a goner no matter what, but losing Hubert and Cole stings.

Goveia, the lazy man GM. Other than Lawler, most of the former Bomber signings are **** anyway.

Yep. Depth at best. Not one grabbed a spot and ran with it.

If we keep ayers that takes some of the sting out of Cole but I would’ve loved to have both.

I wanna see Goeveia try and trade for Jake... Just to see the reaction here.

Well, Hubert looked good in very limited action but suddenly found himself riding the bench for the rest of the season. Cole was good and versatile.

We could throw in Kolankowski and Alexander, too.

That’d be sick. Just imagine 3dn breaking the news. “The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are attempting to acquire Jake Thomas from the bombers, they’ve offered 4 first round picks. Mos has handcuffed himself to Jake and the bud grant statue in protest.”

Hubert was struggling with the speed of the game after a month or so. But he still showed great ability to get off blocks and play the run. Tremendous motor and strength. Love the versatility and football iq.  I hope he gets a good shot at development in Hamilton.

This thread just got great... wbbfan, I'm laughing so hard at the image of them handcuffed to the statue outside the Bombers store....

I'd be concerned if I were a Hamilton fan that he's bringing many mediocre guys that way.

As a Bomber fan this excites me that we have unloaded a guy who appears to be the one who recruited this C - D level talent.
