That does seem to be the case, honestly it doesn’t matter to me though. (I know she’s not like that with the raptors stuff she’s done, be it a small sample size)

Idk if they can separate her from the gimmick. The bad taste is strong. Production/ direction needs change, and much of the tv talent needs to be replaced. Bo is better than any of the ex players in the panel and the booth. Lapo is excellent but under utilized. Ford should probably be In the limited role lapo usually has. Hes just not a natural speaker and hasn’t improved a lot.

TSN broadcasts are old & tired. Suitor needs to be replaced yesterday. Forde is just boring. They want a crazy Kate Bierness hosting the panel. Yet, they keep the boring Forde on tv so go figure. Lapo is way underutilized to the detriment of the viewers. No reason why they can't have another chair at the panel desk for him.

Those during the breaks panels who act like goofs isn’t cfl exclusive. Anyone try watching the jets intermission on sportsnet? Same idea

It's a thing for sure. I used to watch a lot more tennis than I do now but you'd have the American broadcasts trying to be the entertainment, pushing whatever pre-match story they had concocted... but then you'd get a British or Australian feed and they were just calling the match talking about what was happening not doing all this excessive over the top hard sell.

The sport is the entertainment and the reason we like sports is the element of unknown. Don't force a storyline, don't expect the on air people to be the entertainment,  let the athletes dictate the story and be the entertainment.

I'm not against a good story when it exists. But those times are rare. Forcing things makes it all so much worse.

Welcome to the Elks game tonight. The team is led by the fabulous Ford brothers. One brother creates touchdowns, the other takes them away.

Let's pan to the parents (insert other relatives/spouses as appropriate) in the stands every 3 seconds to get their reactions. Fun!

Damn. Now we are gonna hear that during every freaking Elks telecast.

Full confession, I may apply for a writing job with TSN.

New half time interview segment idea: If you were a Timbit, which kind would you be?

Suitor would be a sour cream.

Kate would be a Boston cream filled with axe body spray.

Matty would be rum raisin.

but most of this forum would be old fashioned.

How long have you been a black qb?

If you were a tree, what tree would you be?

Both actual Super Bowl Media Day questions.....

So how much further does shedeur sanders need to slide in the nfl draft before the riders add him to their neg list? 🤣

Wouldn't that be something if he WASN'T drafted & was offered a CFL contract to "prove himself"?

I think Shedeur Sanders is affected by his father Deon. If you're an NFL Head Coach or GM, do you want that guy poking around your team with his entourage as well as media following them both around?

The kid is talented but Deon loves the spotlight. His son has learned from his father & as a result acts entitled & spoiled. He apparently acts like a veteran NFL qb but has never thrown a single pass as a pro qb which a lot of NFL GMS don't like. That kind of behaviour rubs a lot of people the wrong way. This from an anonymous NFL scout last week.

They're already making comparisons of Shedeur Sanders to Colin Paepernick. We'll see what happens today. I'm sure he'll be drafted.

I think he will be drafted late ish 5th plus. Probably by the browns lmao. If not he will for sure get a fa deal.

Idk if you can fix a guy like him. His dad isn’t just another bad sports micro manager, he’s the all time worst sports dad with the most power and leverage.

This whole thing might ruin his confidence too, plus rookie year nfl tc is a brutal reality check.

Im not a fan of his athleticism, arm talent, or any of his intangibles. Pretty much the prototype of what I wouldn’t want in a qb. Despite the hype, I think a lot of teams feel similarly. All the red flags, not nearly enough of the positives

Ayomanor tumbling down draft boards means he may get picked Monday after all

I thought he’d go up the draft a little not down. 4ths past half way over.

It would be insane if this bumper crop of highly athletic skilled guys slide in the nfl market and ended up here. Usually we see the top end of weak drafts poached hard, we could use a bumper crop sliding past and ending up here early.

A lot of value comes from seeing an nfl training camp imo, so if a bunch of guys go to udfa and down that list could be great for the league.

I thought he was gonna be taken around where Higgins was taken, for sure

I don’t get his slide at all. He’s got a tremendous combination of size and athleticism with good production, and crazy upside. He’s one of the better nfl  project players who could make an ar while developing early on.
Most athletic developmental guys with the size don’t have the production, or ability to actually fulfill the potential he does.

Also, im so over these drawn out pro drafts. First round in the nfl on one day at prime time and the rest the next? Fine. But the rest of the draft should be 2 hours ish tops. No need for the rest of the draft to be slower than the first round used to be. The mlb gets through was more picks per minute with way more prospects in a larger geographic area.
