Kupari is gaining a ton of confidence. He's such a smooth skater. Man alive we made out so well getting rid of PLD. I think we would have made out well getting two rolls of tape and a bag of pucks for PLD...

I'd love to have Trouba back, but not at the 8M cap hit. Trouba at 50 percent for Barlow and a 2nd 2026. Rags would prob do it. They want him gone. Putting their (kreider) names out there means just a matter of time.

BomberBall. Posted November 27, 2024 Report Posted November 27, 2024 Has anything changed with Trouba’s wife? Would she want to work here? Like it or not, it’s a big part of the equation for any reunion.

We're just reminiscing how great it was to have him here, and if Byfuglien hadn't screwed us over, we would have been able to keep Trouba. I honestly don't think he'll be back ever. But it is nice to dream of a reunion.
Goalie Posted November 27, 2024 Report Posted November 27, 2024 Realistically I think she’s done her stuff this year so maybe but I don’t think they will trade for trouba. If he’s willing tho and rags eat part of the salary reuniting him with Josh would be good for the Jets. Makes us better.

I don't see Chevy bringing him back after the way he left.... HardCoreBlue 1

Brandon Posted November 27, 2024 Report Posted November 27, 2024 I thought the issue with Trouba was his drug problems off the ice and his family wanting him closer to home so they can keep an eye on him? I'd assume the Jets wouldn't want anyone with a history or character issues.

Just believe everything on the internet? Noeller 1

Bogo was not a good influence on young trouba. That’s a fact but the reason for his trade was 100 percent wife/ gf at the time related. But the reality with the powder is they all do it, ok not all but young guys with millions do. Edited November 27, 2024 by Goalie Noeller 1

Goalie Posted November 27, 2024 Report Posted November 27, 2024 (edited) With all that said I doubt we’d take him back at his current rate. Rags eat half? You’d be on cocaine not to reunite trouba and Josh if it’s possible. Trouba showed up in the playoffs. We lack grit. He brings it. Makes our D so much better. Healthy. Trouba Josh. Pionk samberg. I don't know JT personally but what I do know is anyone who works for the Winnipeg Jets is probably not on cocaine if they do some heads down concentrated assessments of what kind of dynamics (out side of pure physical hockey skills) JT would bring to the table that that could possibly facilitate or hinder the success of the current status of our hockey club.

Multiple jets were on cocaine and some likely still do use it. It’s as common as alcohol. But I don’t think trouba at this point with wife and kid is anymore. I don’t see him as a bad influence. I see him as growing up with a bunch of our core guys like Josh and 55 to name 2. 55 and trouba are bffs
