I've been binge watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and this episode gave me inspiration for tonight's game theme which is the 3rd annual South Asian Heritage Night. Don't blame me, it's all Frank's doing.

What are the rules around that again?  I don't pay enough attention to fully grasp the intricacies of these contracts in the new NHL....

Everyone is down in Phoenix now...lol

I went to a game one time in Glendale and there were more Manitoba plates in the parking lot than Arizona plates.  No word of a lie...

I think it's a total of seven or eight games before the first year the ELC is burned up.  And that's throughout the course of the year.

Didn’t notice it as much for the Bruins game.  Guess people don’t want to venture out in this brutal cold.  Can’t really blame them.

It means that he'll have 2 years left on his contract regardless of how many games he plays this year.  I believe that's also a cap hit for the team.  It's minimal but every dollar counts under the salary cap era.

no change in scoring but considering they've kept Vegas from scoring after 2 I consider that an accomplishment

Vegas isn’t a draw here in the regular season it seems. I went to a game last year vs Vegas and it wasn’t sold out. It’s also minus 30.

Appleton, Kupari and others are passing up shots to make ill advised passes.  3rd and 4th liners can’t be making those mistakes.
