Imo 1st place is a nice to have not a must have. I’d rather us get all our guys as close to 100% heading into the first game of post season. Ideally having both (securing 1st place and being healthy and ready to go) would be ideal.
itchy Posted Saturday at 10:42 PM Report Posted Saturday at 10:42 PM Well Pittsburgh did us a solid this afternoon. Time to capitalize and win this one. Piggy 1 and TrueBlue4ever 1 1
iHeart Posted Saturday at 11:06 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:06 PM and it's actually a scratch not a IR
captaincanuck12 Posted Saturday at 11:24 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:24 PM Jets look sleepy and it's cost them already. Hopefully this power play gives them some life
HardCoreBlue Posted Saturday at 11:39 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:39 PM The amount of give aways in succession not looking like our usual Jet hockey. Yikes.
captaincanuck12 Posted Saturday at 11:50 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:50 PM What is going on with this team? They look absolutely disorganized. And getting out played by a team that's not even making the playoffs.
HardCoreBlue Posted Saturday at 11:54 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:54 PM Helle’s left pad keeps it 1-0. Not the best period I’ve seen Samberg play. Wipe this period away, get back to Jet hockey.
TrueBlue4ever Posted Saturday at 11:54 PM Report Posted Saturday at 11:54 PM Scheifele and Hellebuyck appear to be the only players interested in trying in the first period. Jets go to Sin City and look completely dialled in, then go to Mormon Central and look completely distracted for the second time this year. Go figure. rebusrankin 1
captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM Ffs. Down 2 . Stay out of the f****** box.
HardCoreBlue Posted yesterday at 12:16 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:16 AM This game is quickly going to get out of hand if we don’t score the next goal.

captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 12:44 AM Report Posted yesterday at 12:44 AM (edited) Oh, who needs first place anyway. What a f****** pathetic effort. And it looks like we have seen playoff Hellebuyck surface Edited yesterday at 12:50 AM by captaincanuck12 Piggy 1 1
captaincanuck12 Posted yesterday at 01:37 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:37 AM Nice of the Jets to show up for 20 mins. Too bad it came after they were down 3-0. Piggy 1 1
Piggy 1 Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:51 AM Lord Stanley? Wot? Not after this performance.

kelownabomberfan Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago Not a great effort. LA and Utah seem to have our number.

I don't understand why we struggle against these lower teams. It's baffling, especially with the best goalie in the world. I’m frustrated too. They showed no intensity through the first 35 minutes of the game, and blew a golden opportunity with Dallas losing today, which they would have known before the opening faceoff. But Hellebuyck made some huge saves on high danger chances. He was the only reason it wasn’t 6-0 after 2 periods. Jets lost in spite of his play, not because of it. Injuries are not helping either. Completely changes our power play, which did not need extra reasons to struggle.
Goalie Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Utah is actually very good. Fast. Young. These teams play hard against the Jets cuz the Jets are currently the measuring stick. Utah is gonna be real good. I thought they dominated but when the Jets did get chances and they got them, the Jets killer goalie made the saves. Dudes been killing Jets since Arizona. Ehlers out is gonna hurt. Nino ain’t playing up to snuff. Utah isn’t bad. They are rolling right now and have same points as basically Vancouver and Calgary. They aren’t a bottom feeder. They have 20 more points than Nashville. Utah could finish in around 90 points. That’s not a bad team at all. They will miss playoffs cuz well Winnipeg Dallas Colorado Minnesota St. Louis is in their division also. And have 6 teams make it from the central division of death wouldn’t be fair.
