Goalie Posted Monday at 03:17 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:17 PM Amazing really. Winnipeg was the best team in the league this regular season. Gotta give props to Chevy and Arniel. Arniel should be up for Jack Adams honestly. fun fact tho lol. In 10 years when ppl look back we will see Logan Stanley as a guy who played the majority of the presidents trophy winning season and put up a career high in points. captaincanuck12 1

I don't understand how there is so little chatter for Arneil for the Jack Adams. Most so called experts had the Jets as a bubble playoff team at best. Winning the President's trophy would seem to indicate a coach who elevated his team above expectations. Another reason for this team to play the underdog card as motivation. kelownabomberfan, Stickem, HardCoreBlue and 1 other 2 1 1
WinnipegGordo Posted Monday at 06:35 PM Report Posted Monday at 06:35 PM Also, I know fans like to **** on Chevy but he should win GM of the year. For the Jets to win the Presidents' Trophy while being on most players' no trade trade list is an accomplishment to say the least. BomberBall., Noeller, Goalie and 1 other 3 1

You'd think that having the chance to play on a Stanley Cup winning team would motivate some of the lazy & entitled NHL talent to want to play here but with today's players, I guess not. Having the chance to hit the links or the beach everyday usurps wanting to win a championship. I had a coach once who said that there are players who don't care if they win or lose. if they play or not. In the case of NHL players, living in Southern California, Texas or South Florida was more important. Just as long as they got paid. He called these guys Jacket Players.
