captaincanuck12 Posted 18 hours ago Report Posted 18 hours ago Omfg. Arneil better rip into them . This is embarrassing. 1 minute ago, SpeedFlex27 said: Same old Jets. Nothing has changed. We still may win this series but next round it's probably over unless they change their attitude in the playoffs. I'm not so sure they're going to win the series any more. The last three games St. Louis has been very consistent and we've been very fortunate.

Hellebuyck is one of the worst puck handlers in the NHL. he's been exposed in past playoff series, so what's he do?? Of course, he handles the puck. Gives it away & opens the floodgates. He played like crap tonight.

Was he good? No but how many 5 on 3s or 5 on 4s can you take when you already losing. You could see it on Arniel Lowry and several players faces, they were frustrated and legit pissed off and confused. Demelo is also a big loss cuz it messes with the D pairs big time. He’s Josh’s partner. That’s top pairing. Miller pionk Schenn (his worst game as a jet by far) ain’t it. was 2 0 before jets had a shot on net. Not sure it’s really Helle that was the issue. Not the biggest one. if I didn’t know better I’d say the refs took the over this game. Edited 17 hours ago by Goalie

Well, Sportsnet looks like they feel the Blues will win the series.
Goalie Posted 17 hours ago Report Posted 17 hours ago Looks like a team who was down 2 0 And hasn’t lost at home in 14 games now had something to play for. All the other series Dallas Colorado and Vegas minny are 2 1 so it’s not like it’s that bad. Things got out of control when the refs started giving the jets who were losing 5 2 at that point the extra penalties. Stanley cost more goals than Helle did technically.
Wanna-B-Fanboy Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago It was 3-1 when Helle mishandle that puck. Jets finally broke the goose egg and started to climb back into the game.... then ~60 secs later, Blues score again and doucher gets a hat trick... That was a pretty soul crushing game.
AB BomberFan Posted 16 hours ago Report Posted 16 hours ago One game. Played awful. Flush it and move on. HardCoreBlue, Noeller and bb1 3

And you wonder why no one outside of Winnipeg thinks this team will go anywhere or are true Stanley Cup contenders? When they serve up **** like this?? The Jets deserve to be treated with no respect by out of town NHL media. We had a chance to really lock down this series & break the back of the Blues but the Jets have no killer instinct to actually do it. Commentators were saying how the Blues were undefeated in 12 home games. That they only lost 4 games since the 4 Nations tournament. That thecoaches & players knew the Blues would come on like whirling dervishes at home. Yet... even though they knew... They. Couldn't. Stop. Them. Just like the last two playoff seasons. This is more than just another loss & we'll get over it.
Goalie Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Some of you really need to relax. A 2 1 loss is the same as 7 2. It’s irrelevant. lol at thinking the Jets were coming back last night after the 1st period. Also with Demelo being sick our D got seriously slower as Schenn Stanley and Miller are all slow. Demelo out hurt more than people realize. If ppl learned anything last night it should be the jets and blues are being given diffeeeht standards of officiating. They calling the jets for everything while blues getting away with it. Hell they even disallowed a goal that was clearly in. Edited 8 hours ago by Goalie
Noeller Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago Better to get **** kicked. It's an eye opener and you have no excuses in G4.... HardCoreBlue 1
FrostyWinnipeg Posted 8 hours ago Report Posted 8 hours ago I quit watching when it was 4-1. Holy ship was I lucky!
BomberBall. Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago That might have been the poorest officiated game I’ve ever seen…. Definitely in the playoffs. Just inexplicable calls and non calls. That crew should get a serious reprimand…. They won’t, but they absolutely should.
HardCoreBlue Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago 1 hour ago, Noeller said: Better to get **** kicked. It's an eye opener and you have no excuses in G4.... This is absolutely true. Sunday may tell us if the Jets are for real this year or just another season full of mirages. How they respond to a now very confident Blue team will be telling. Adversity here we go. Noeller 1

But it obviously doesn't mean the Jets are done. How they respond on Sunday will be telling. Noeller and captaincanuck12 2
captaincanuck12 Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago For the me the frustrating thing was the slow starts this series. St. Louis obviously has a lift from playing at home, so adrenaline is a thing and they were energized last night and had that extra step. The cynic in me thinks the Jets could be down 3-0 given the way the they started game 1 and game 2. St. Louis' game plan has not changed. That being said, I don't see how the Blues can keep up this physicality. They will get worn out and it's not sustainable. Still though, I hope Arneil ripped them a new one. That was an unacceptable performance.
BomberBall. Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Obviously a very frustrating game for Jets fans. The team was undermanned and looked lethargic. Maybe whatever DeMelo has, was affecting a few other players? Who knows…. But one thing is clear, the Blues are trying to take the Jets off their game by being extra physical. Hitting everything that moves, crashing the net, clutching, grabbing, setting picks… So the Jets need to adjust to it and make them pay. Getting DeMelo and Vilardi back would be nice. Also….. If Perfetti’s goal was allowed, and Hellebuyck doesn’t lose his mind and cough up a gift, it’s a 3-2 game in the 3rd period. Just sayin.
johnzo Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago okay, in any playoff run you're gonna have some turkey games, and losing game 3 when you're up 2-0 is hardly a disaster. not time for panic. but then I look at Hellebucyk's save percentage in these playoffs and I think it's hard to picture the Jets going much further unless the dude elevates his game.

Knowing obviously it was not the main reason we lost this stinker and as objectively as possible, I’m still very confused on how they confirmed the original call on the ice of Perfetti no goal. The one angle from behind the net zoomed in clearly showed the glove catching net fully behind the post. What else does one need? This is why we have technology. Piggy 1 1

It was clearly a goal. That ruling is just cowardice and not wanting to overturn the call on the ice…. It was the easy way out. And in this situation, the call on the ice shouldn’t carry any weight. The ref that signaled no goal was on the opposite side of the net from where the puck crossed the line. There is no chance he could see where the puck was. Piggy 1 1
Goalie Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) You could hear the one ref yelling at AI to stay out the crease constantly also. Just wouldn’t stop. Seriously AI looked up and shook his head like shut up and let me play hockey. Reffing has been an issue. There’s a few examples of it last night. Personally 5 3 doesn’t sound bad but they took away one of ours and gave St. Louis a 5 on 3 late. Edited 1 hour ago by Goalie
Stickem Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago We're not going to win anything with that kind of effort...What a bloody disgrace.....We better have Vilardi and/or Ehlers back soon or this series is headed for the ditch...AND give a heads up to Helle....stay home....that meaning between the pipes...The worst puck handling I've seen by a goalie for quite awhile.....................
Goalie Posted 8 minutes ago Report Posted 8 minutes ago Helle isn’t the problem. The defence is. People really think schenn miller and Stanley can keep up with the speed of the blues? Nope. That’s half the D last night. Do ppl even watch? This game was over after the 1st so anything after is pretty irrelevant. 7 2 is the same as 2 1. It’s a loss. A loss is a loss. It’s irrelevant right now. 2 1 Jets still in the series. Might be 2 2 then we come back here and win. I mean really. It is the same. 7 2 means nothing. It means St. Louis has 1 win in 3 games in the series. Helle? lol yeah I guess he’s expected to stop shots from 15 feet away which rarely to never happened in the regular season. Dudes not dom Hasek he’s a positional goalie and he goes as the D in front of him goes. Yeah he takes heat cuz hey we scored a goal and were only down 3 with 15 to go and the jets play up until then totally said they coming back.
