Chad Faulcon
School: Montclair State
Position: S
Bio: Three year starter awarded All-American and all-conference honors last season. Senior totals included 73 tackles/3interceptions/7 pass break ups after 67/1/6 the prior year.
Positive: Nice sized safety with a good head for the ball. Effectively diagnoses the action, stays with assignments and shows a burst to the play. Breaks down well, uses his hands to protect himself and effectively covers the pass in the short field. Takes good angles to the action, squares into tackles and wraps up tackling. Aggressively goes after ball handlers.
Negative: Must improve his backpedal. Not quick moving in reverse. Primarily used in the box at Montclair State.
Analysis: Faulcon is a solid small school prospect with the ability to be kept on a roster as a ninth defensive back if he plays well on special teams.

He seems like he's a guy that could transition well into the SAM spot up here but it will be interesting to see how he does in camp if that is indeed what they have planned for him. Got to like the fact they keep bringing in more competition at linebacker.

Yea I would see this guy as a SAM prospect. Can never have too many prospects at that spot, especially in our situation..
