I know a lot of people on here were saying it was a longshot he'd be here anytime soon since he fit in well with Oakland. Things quickly change, here's hoping something positive comes of it for us.

Honestly with the 2 year minimum contracts in the CFL now, a guy who's got as much experience as him would be foolish to hold out for NFL options at least until the end of the NFL year (or whenever the latest he can sign and still be eligible for the playoffs, if there's such a rule down there)

Especially at *only* 6'5"...hell, Doug Brown was 6'8" and just over 300, and he was way too fat. Had to come down to 290 or 295 (bigger difference than it would appear) in order to be able to run as much as is needed in the CFL...
